@TheSnowballEarth From the Oxford dictionary I have this: lager is a LIGHT PALE BEER that usually has a lot of bubbles. This means lager is lighter than beer. He has to say beer or lager so that some stupid guys wouldn't deduce something like: "Lager is lighter than beer, so one unit of alcohol is a pint of lager instead of half a pint as beer.". Hope you are not one of them.

@thanxasonvg113 most folks in the states don't know wtf lager is even if you poured it down their parched ignorant throats, much less wtf a pint is... the dumbing down of humanity... as long as they keep buying and drinking the beer that keeps the machine going... i'll have another... i think that's a call for moderation really ;-]

@TheSnowballEarth Yeah, I agree with you that lager is a type of beer. What I wanted to say is that he had his reason to distinguish between beer and lager. This is sort of comedy in addition to some useful information, I don't think you should be too strict about this matter. He's a talented men, I respect him so I don't feel happy when you say that he can't distinguish memory and RAM.

You should feel no less kindly towards my remark than you should when Roy and Moss rip on Jen's lack of computer savvy on "The IT Crowd" which is where my remark originates.
