  • WHERE IS THE DIMENSIONAL INTERVAL?

  • I like Gilgamesh more because he has a higer rate of coming out other than just at the start

  • @lKageShinryul dont forget that he can also come out during boss battles also, unlike Odin.

  • ExcalibEr??? lol now Gilgy has two Excalibur fakes

  • So much more useful to wait until after the last battle with Seifer before obtaining Odin, otherwise you ended up with this pile of junk!

  • @jarosikzero You never need odin since he cant appear in boss battles (expect the seifer one) and when you're not fighting bosses you have Enc-None on.

  • First he stands like a pro and takes hit after hit from Necrophobe in FF5, then he pwns Necrophobe, now he's back to deliver sweet justice once again XD

  • Gilgamesh is my favourite summon, it's funny how they tried to get Yojimbo into the fray in FFX with his super cool Zanmato, I like Yojimbo too lol, Odin's good but he got owned by...Seifer, moving on swiftly...

  • this guy has the ugliest summon sequece eva

  • Gilgamesh was more of a comedy character for his never ending quest for Excalibur is many FF's. But in 8 they like.. Tried to make him serious. I still prefer Odin though. It was either death, or hgh damage. Gilgamesh is death, small damage, smaller damage... Or 1....

  • Gilgamesh is Death, High Damage, Medium Damage or 1 Damage.

  • man he sucks! LOL odin is so much better

  • in this game he does but gilgamesh pwns

  • Who wield Excalibur i remember the sword name but i forgot who wield it

  • King Arthur

  • @wario67 u mean king GILGAMESH

  • how do you even summon him!? he comes randomly, like i remember i had commenced a battle, ya know when walking, and "Zantetsuken" appeared on the screen and Odin appeared out of nowhere and completly terminated the enemys.

  • i think i get him after i beat seifer in lunatic pandora, just before disc 3 ends. I could never beat Adel, so maybe that's why i never saw him.

  • you carnt get him at disk 3 unless you have odin because odin dies in disk 3 from seifer just incase you left that out :)

  • now, i got odin before lunatic pandora AGAIN, and after i beat seifer and faced adel, gilgamesh came, but he killed rinoa with excalibur. 0_0 when i had my other FF8 i never got to summon gilgamesh, becuase i never could beat adel, but now i could beat him, that rotten....

  • lol

  • moar liek Excalipoor amirite

  • i don't get it

  • lol in the entire game, my Gilgamesh always used Excaliber and Zantetsuken

  • Gotta love this guy!

    Excalipoor attack = 1 Damage

    Excaliber attack = Holy Damage

    Masamune attack = Normal Damage

Zantetsuken attack = Do I really need to tell you?

  • @Kojain I hated him in this game. Odin was so much better.

  • @Kojain

Actually Excaliber counts as every element. It is Excalibur, just misnamed (note the second-to-last letter).

  • It is indeed the same Gilgamesh from FFV. He gained the ability to travel dimensions due to the events in the void. The dailogue he had with Siefer when he first arrvies even directly refers to those events. Plus in XII, he has a sword from every previous FF universe.

  • yeah is same gilgamesh, but have FAKE version of every sowrd...

  • seroiusly the same guy

  • The Masumune is Auron's Ultimate weapon in FFX! And excalibur sounds familiar too!

  • actually ,masamune is one of the trademarks of final fantasy because it appearded in every game yet--- and dot you know the Legendary Sword Excalibur?!?!

  • well the only FF's I've ever played were 8 10 and 12,, and i've only beaten 10, but it was easy! so nope, i haven't known exalibur.

  • but excalibur isnt from FF.... its the sword from Arthur... Please dont tell me you dont know that story...!

  • ..who's Arthur?

  • hes in history but hes in legend that he wields the legendary sword that cannot be blocked and granted promised victory with a scabbard that never let him shed blood but he died when someone stole his scabbard and went into battle

  • the name of some summons, the name of some weapons, armor, etc, are just from legendary history. Gilgamesh, was some king of kings in a age where the world only had one king, and he got every treasoure weapons and armor in the world. Sorry if my grammar ain't good

  • well in FF12, when you face him, he has tons of legendary swords, the only one i recognized was the sunflower sword (i forget the name of it already!), but he also might have had the caladbolg, and he has the "sword of legend" too. Anyways he has 6 arms, each wielding a katana at first, but then he switches out one by one with a legendary sword.

  • tournesol.

  • no wait I mean 5

  • Is that the same Gilgamesh from FF(I think)4?

  • Ive just started a new game of FF8 in over 5 years since I last played it lol.

Its one amazing game. But Odin is better then Gilgamesh because Odin always uses the best sword :p

  • true but in the final battle or against Omega it wouldnt work

  • odin is better of course :|

  • this guy is more superior than odin.

  • @coolguy02536 No Masamune was of Sephiroth and of many other sequels of FF

  • Masamune IS in FF12.

  • and i tot it was spelled EXCALIBUR

  • It's a variant spelling. It can even be spelled Escalibor.

  • same. got it off ebay last week. SOOO GUD!

im on disc 3. already got odin, so gilgamesh is mine

  • first comment! YEAH! i'm also playing this game now
