And by the way. when I said intimidating I DID NOT mean that WDW's castle was. What I meant was European tyrants would make their castle's large to be intimidating, and Walt did not what his castle to be that way.

Of course I've seen Cinderella castle. There's no need to take things so personally. :-)

And if you want I can send you where I found the info. Walt felt that there should only be one Disneyland, and he initially had no interest in making a Magic kingdom park. he did not want to repeat himself.

But regardless, remember that without Disneyland and its castle (which people love) there would be no WDW.

And PLEASE do not take this personally. I am in NO WAY trying to be mean. :-)

@sucrefee While it's shape is slightly reminiscent of Cinderella Castle, it's colors are those of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle. The shape and height of the castle are exaggerated.

(Have you SEEN DL's Castle? That thing would never come close to rising over any clouds!)

actually i have seen it, and being a WDW brat, said out loud "...that's it?" i didn't mean for it to sound so snarky.

but ive noticed them doing that a lot, or more frequently with the commercials. like last years MNSSHP commercial. they showed DL's castle during the clips.

to me it just reeks of bad editing, but maybe im just looking too far into it ;p.

@sucrefee Well... Unfortunately, Disney Parks hasn't been doing a very good job with their advertising recently. If you saw the 2009 Holidays commercial, it shows WDW's Castle, and DL's Small World Holiday. Also, WDW's Summer Nighttastic Commercial used almost entirely Disneyland footage. They're doin' it cheap these days. :(
