@joalco3 eliminators are lighter and therefore a lot faster. Cobras are heavier and therefore give you more power. i recommend trying them out at your local store no matter what you want, because you want to get a feel for it first.

@15thDrummer The Power Glide and Rolling Glide are chain-drive. The Rolling Glide has a perfect round cam, so you get the same feel at every point in the stroke, very controlled. The Power Glide has an offset cam, and the further into the stroke you go, the more speed and power it generates, at the cost of being slightly harder to control. The Flexi Glide has a strap drive, and an absolutely mad offset, for a more traditional, extra smooth but slightly less sensitive "floating" action.

I use yamaha wood beaters and theyre light. I have a kevlar evans beater pad so they dont wear quickly. I started using them after being told it matches you using wood sticks so all your attack sounds similar and i have to say i like it alot.

There are metal things pointing out at the end of the pedal. You can twist them out so they point out more in to the ground for more stability!

I have dw 5000's. The new IC power glides are a better deal imo, since they are "snappier" (better kick-back) and have a lot more features for the price. Plus, they are very durable.

ok one thing, at the end of the video he says they are the best, but if this is your first double bass pedal then how do you know that, have you tried any other pedal, i mean if you did your research and tried out a bunch of pedals before you bought the iron cobra then i guess my point is invalid. but your opinion may differ from mine. and personally i haven't played on iron cobra's so i don't know, but I've tried out trick axis pearl demon drive, and a few others haven't made my decision yet.
