I believe you're right, it was supposed to have been open last year, but it is schedule for completion sometime in late summer this year and open in December.
I went there in 2001 and all there was on that site was a billboard with the pic of tht building rising off it lol Its come at long way since then!! Dubai must have changed alot??
great video, awsome music, this building is sick dude, im suprised, ive never really heard of it until only a few weeks or months ago. i thought that the freedom tower was unbelieveable at 541meters but this one at 818meters its just amazing. 10/10

don't think it would be open then already, thought i heard it opens in December 2009 due to a construction delay caused by the financial crisis.
