@Lodoz No not 20 minutes, just 1 is good enough. Hot oil, when not allowed to cool, creates coking, which is a term used to define the caking of hot oil. Not good on turbos longevity. And yeah, they were done being spooled but they are WAAAY louder than than like.. 50mm turbos.

@quinnmyster The oil won't get any cooler with the vehicle running. I'm assuming he's using Mobile 1 or another high performance oil so the temperature limits far exceed any heat generated from these cars.
@RsBl0gger91 I see what you're saying, but oil temp cooling is very important. If you shut off a vehicle that has hot oil, and don't allow the temperature to gradually drop, you get what's called "coking", where the hot oil cakes on the inside of the motor components, and mainly will cause issues down the line within the turbo(s) if coking happens within.
@quinnmyster i didn't say an intercooler. i said a turbo cooler like what i would do if i turbocharged a car i would have a separate oil tank and pump just for the turbo charger so one if it does burn the oil it doesn't harm my engine just the turbo also if the pump is electric then you dont need to keep your engine for the turbo to cool down. cause that is why you need to keep it running because the turbo gets too hot and if the oil stays in it it gets burnt and damaged.

Second, your f-150 doesn't get 16 worst with those tires, especially going up and down mountains. And my truck gets about 21ish freeway, but Knotts is a huge attraction, lots of traffic. The entire drive there (~80 miles or so) was a 2 hour drive. So I think the 15.5 I averaged going there and back wasn't bad.

Shelby had nothing to do with the design of the GT40 you retard, it was designed & built by Lotus and Lola in the UK by British engineers, then Ford bought it at a later date. Type GT40 & wiki into google and read for yourself. The only American who had ANY involvement whatsoever was 1 person called Robert Lunn, and even he had minimal involvement in the design. Incidentally of the 4 GT40s that won LeMans, only 1 was an American team. The other 3 teams were British.

@rides800 That's funny, my 91 standard cab v6 silverado has pulled tons of Ford's out of being stuck, and it's stock. It's even a peg leg! Ford has good things, chevy has good things, and dodge has good things. No point in bashing any of them. My truck has almost 200k on it and still runs amazing. Plus GREAT mileage, got to knotts and back (200 miles round trip) off 40$ at 2.89 a gallon :D

@guito1969 One, it's 2.99 a gallon in southern california. That puts it at roughly 13 used, and I had to drive home from Palm Desert the day before on that gas, which is roughly 40 miles. Second, your f-150 doesn't get 16 worst with those tires, especially going up and down mountains. And my truck gets about 21ish freeway, but Knotts is a huge attraction, lots of traffic. The entire drive there (~80 miles or so) was a 2 hour drive. So I think the 15.5 I averaged going there and back wasn't bad.

What is 5,252, though? The constant.
150 FT-LBS X 35.014 RPM = 5,252.1 = 1 HP. When you use the equation, THEN, and ONLY THEN, can you combine RPM and torque, and measure them in the form of Horsepower.
