The stops were nice, althought a bit overdone. Some stops are just plain useless like in the piano riff.

The steps themselves could use better layering. You also missed some sounds and there's a big lack of pitch relevancy, but pretty cool chart nonetheless.

No idea if this is a kb chart or a pad chart, but I assumed it was a kb chart and judged it as so.

I disagree that the stops were overdone. It's meant to imitate the hyperactive editing style of the video, which jumps around the entire time.

And yeah, looking back I did realize that I missed some sounds in the song, but I never went back to correct them.

As far as pitch relevancy goes, it's just a game and I'm not going to take my charts that seriously. The most I did was use a certain arrow for a certain drum sound, but that was about as far as I went.

Ah yeah, in that sense the stops are fine.

And for pitch relevancy, it's not that hard and makes simfiles that much more fun to play if done right. When done right, it feels as if you are actually playing the song yourself instead of just hitting notes.

And it's not something you have to follow strictly, just as long as it makes sense. :)

But it's just tips. After all, someone makes simfiles for their own pleasure. :p

I have watched the video before, but I was thinking in different simfile theories than Bkid001 was, and both of our views are correct.

Vivid, what are you talking about? That's the default noteskin. And people still use Xmods. Cmods are for players who have no rhythm when it comes to stops/bpm changes.

I like the idea behind this simfile, but it's needlessly gimmicky. I could step the same thing without the stops and all of a sudden, it's like playing on a Cmod and requires no rhythm.

IT WAS MADE TO IMITATE THE MUSIC IT WAS MADE FOR. That's why it's all.."gimmicky"..It wasn't made to be serious, or difficult, or whatever else you want it to be. It's fun, and it goes along with the music (and video).
