When you're touring and playing live shows everynight, obviously your voice is gonna get thrashed on. Anthony pushes his voice to the limit every show so don't expect him to hit the everything he did in the albums. Because when you have months to record, your voice has time to heal and rest.

anyone who goes to a live show and expect the singer's voice to be exactly like the studio is...to put it bluntly, an idiot. Going to a concert is about the energy you see from the band, the way they interpret their own music. It's not about if the singer can hit all the notes perfectly. Of course you have to be reasonable and expect a good vocal tho. Which this is.

Anthony Green knows his music, he isnt just fucking up on stage.

no offence to circa survive at all they know i love them all but this is one of their worst performances. i was actually at it and it was in syracuse ny at the new york state fair and it wasn't really good. their sound systems weren't very good at that concert. they are a lot better now, i saw them twice since this past august. very awesome. check out the recent stuff.

He definitely has a hoarseness and I suspect he's exhausted. Without it, Anthony has a higher voice than Craig - that's certain as hell. I'm not criticizing. I aspire to be musicians like anthony and such others in bands, jazz groups, and orchestras. I've played alto saxophone for 6 and a half years now. Drums for 7 years. Guitar for 4 years. Keyboards now for about 2, and vocals now for about 2. I am a musician. I've played a dozen live shows in my band, play numerous venues with my jazz quartet.
haha. don't get like that right a way, i'm just making an observation on my own behalf. i love anthony green. he's an amazing musician. i do vocals for the band i'm in and people like craig owens and anthony are probably my two highest role models. I'm saying this because i run into the same problem he does at certain times, that's all.
He is singing way too high for his capability. I've been to a couple of circa shows. He runs out of breath. He should train his voice to get that high consistently. He was amazing in saosin because he wasn't asked to sing all the time, and singing in key the majority of the time wasn't as necessary. In circa he needs a voice coach. It's easy to have your record sound a certain way, for example, anthony's high vocals because of the time he has to take breathers.

remember that the music in saosin is way different from circa survive music. Anthony dances according to the feel of the song. he went crazy when he sang for saosin cuz the music was faster and aggressive.
he probably doesn't dance as much cuz its like harder to sing to circa than saosin even for him cuz saosin didn't ask for much just screaming like he had to move from screaming to higher tones which in my opinion is harder

no offence to circa survive at all they know i love them all but this is one of their worst performances. i was actually at it and it was in syracuse ny at the new york state fair and it wasn't really good. their sound systems weren't very good at that concert. they are a lot better now, i saw them twice since this past august. very awesome. check out the recent stuff.

He definitely has a hoarseness and I suspect he's exhausted. Without it, Anthony has a higher voice than Craig - that's certain as hell. I'm covering Craig's melodies with no problem ( only the screaming parts are tough ). But I don't undestand this thing with steroids, that's peculiar and unbelivable. Can you explain further ? And can you give some proof couse it seems to be an absurd.

He's an awesome showman and he really gets into the music, but he's not as good live as I thought he was gonna be. He's still fucking awesome, but he's not like PERFECT which I was under the impression he was. Craig Owens is teh best high live vocalist :)

In essence they make your voice higher.
but the actual effect is that it relaxes and strengthens your vocal chords, which are basically muscles.
but it doesn't matter, as long as he sounds good.

I'm not criticizing. I aspire to be musicians like anthony and such others in bands, jazz groups, and orchestras. I've played alto saxophone for 6 and a half years now. Drums for 7 years. Guitar for 4 years. Keyboards now for about 2, and vocals now for about 2. I am a musician. I've played a dozen live shows in my band, play numerous venues with my jazz quartet.

haha. don't get like that right a way, i'm just making an observation on my own behalf. i love anthony green. he's an amazing musician. i do vocals for the band i'm in and people like craig owens and anthony are probably my two highest role models. I'm saying this because i run into the same problem he does at certain times, that's all.

He is singing way too high for his capability. I've been to a couple of circa shows. He runs out of breath. He should train his voice to get that high consistently. He was amazing in saosin because he wasn't asked to sing all the time, and singing in key the majority of the time wasn't as necessary. In circa he needs a voice coach. It's easy to have your record sound a certain way, for example, anthony's high vocals because of the time he has to take breathers.

remember that the music in saosin is way different from circa survive music. Anthony dances according to the feel of the song. he went crazy when he sang for saosin cuz the music was faster and aggressive.

well, if you've watched most of his videos and/or seen him live, you know he sings that way on purpose. he can sound like the record when he wants. but what anthony does is make every time he sings a song different. he improvises. his screams are awesome. period.
