Today ARR is probably one of the few music directors who still gives room for traditional Indian music. Sad reality.

Pure genius! You can imagine the hours he put in to perfect his "sur". On the other hand you have guys like Atif Aslam who cannot sing the 12 notes in the sargam properly getting chances in movies after movies when gems like him are unemployed. Disgusted by the music directors who overlooked him.

Amazing singing. Superb. He got a chance with A.R Rahman, what more can one wish for? But he truly deserves this. The song is fantastic. I keep listening to it. Specially the part where he says "Maathey ki bindiya" uff..amazing control over his voice.

This guy is simply superb. Since the 1999 SRGM series, I've been praying that this guy gets the opportunity and exposure that he so deserves...he's a fantastic singer and hope he continues to do well in future too.
