@archive303 No, you stated it as if I was at a dog fighting ring. In this situation it was easier said than done. For the record, I train dogs, not to mention I have four Siberian Huskies of my own. I have a great knowledge on how dogs thing, how to train them, and I'm very well known around the community here. My only point was that they were wagging tails while "fighting to the death". With that said, they were attempting to fight to the death.

THE DOGS ARE NOT IN PAIN. When you step on a dog's tail or REALLY accidently hurt one, dogs make a very distinct yelp when actually being hurt. The most this does is make the dog dizzy and a bit wet. This is slightly more cruel than putting tape on your cat's feet or something else that 'confounds' but doesn't physically harm a creature. If the dogs were really hurt, they wouldn't be dizzy, they'd be incapacitated or they'd be yelping. PETA is trying to equate this with lynching/death-hanging.

Can't help but be reminded of the people who sit in their living rooms to watch dogs be hit, kicked, yanked on chains and finally pinned flat to the ground until they go limp with exhaustion and terror, all for the unscientific ritual of "domination."
