The opening montage is a who's who of 80's hits & hitmakers. Like the Flashdance,maniac type thememusic here.Clearly music video's were blowing up real big at this point in time. Sadly today i can't tell you who's who or what's hot in music today. I love the 80's

@lbCharmed1 Born a year after SG was cancelled. Nowadays there is no real talent. Talent is manufactured with AutoTune and television contracts. If you've starred in a Disney Channel sitcom, you basically have a record deal. It sucks. Notable examples include Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and The Jonas Brothers.

I forget her name, but if I am not mistaken, she was one of the girls that went onto perform in the Las Vegas live version of the Solid Gold show. She wasn't on the TV show very long, but did show up in a photo with Robert Guillome (Benson) in TV guide regarding the Vegas show.

Her name is Kelly Stubbs. She appeared on SG for 4-5 episodes in 1983.

Thanks for the info RONAFER69. Do you have anyway of confirming if she eventually went over to the Solid Gold Live Revue in Vegas? I will look for my old scrapbook I thing the TV Guide article is still in there.
