This phone is so cool and perfect! I am sure that you has dropped your Nokia 6300 in water to do a water test. This isn't good. Never try this with your phone. Just search on youtube because there are crazy guys that are trying this and recording it. But it can be that you has dropped your phone into something dirty and you has try to clean it with water. The only thing I want to say is never use water to do something with your Nokia 6300. So never clean it with water. Nokia 6300 is perfect.

hi i had a similar problem to that i turned my phone on and it said "nokia" and then turned back off again what you need to do is contact nokia and ask them if they could RESET your phone send it to them its probly the software that needs reseting in your phone i think you can reset your phone on nokia pc suite.

hmm i have this phone too, i got it sometime in august. haven't really had problems with it. in fact, im really happy with it. Hopefully i wont have any problems. Nokia phones are probably my #1 choice.

i hate motorola...bad experiences. i don't like samsung much either. Sony is OK.

you have to re-install the firmware using the nokia soft disc that came with the phone. its very easy to do, not much of a problem.
