Nice Tractor !! I just got my 1023E with H120 loader and 260 backhoe. Almost bought a Kubota BX25 TLB, local JD dealer met Kubota's price so I went "green". I think the JD is a better machine.
Hey i was just wondering if john deere contacted you about a tranny recall? I mentioned before mines a 1026R but i didnt know if 1023E had one. They picked mine up today and are bringing it back tomorrow. I guess some were missing a couple bolts on the tranny from the assembly line and there was a warranty recall i didnt know if you had one on yours, I love mine they are great tractors and i finally got to play in the snow a couple weeks ago we got 6 inches LOL
@1meansledpuller I have not had a recall yet and I checked the website for recalls this morning and didnt see one on there for my tractor or yours..I would imagine they would send me something in the mail!! Im begging for some snow here in Va so I can play but it isnt looking good..lol
Nice video. thinking about picking up one of these and would like to get a regular owners video of using the front loader to pick up and move gravel. Also, have you considered the backhoe option? Looks easy from the video, but then again that is from the JD site where everything looks easy. Thanks for the post...
@zeswaggersmurf When I get some stone for my driveway I will try to post another video using the bucket.. I have not considered the backhoe option simply because I have no need for it really..
could you please up load another video of this tractor or email me a video gpaseur@comcast.net and what do you think of it now, can you post a video of you mowing and using the bucket with dirt or some thing along those lines. thanks
That is a nice tractor, I looked at John Deere, Kubota, and Massey Ferguson. I ended up getting the Massery Ferguson GC2600. I paid $14900 for just the tractor and loader. They were offering 0% for 72 months with no money down. I really liked the JD but the dealers in the area where not willing to deal. The MF has 25.5 hp. I've been really happy with the performance and the very easy serviceability of the tractor. Have fun with your tractor!!
@TaborFamilyFarm That sounds like a great deal. My dealer worked with me a little but after all was said and done I liked the quality of the JD for a little more money.. I couldnt even find a dealer around here that had Massey Ferguson and had similiar tractors...Theyre nice tractors too...
Sweet tractor, im looking at either the 1023 or 1026 for my lawn service, more so to do snow removal and maybe landscaping down the road. I havnt seen many of these. I know this is considered a subcompact and the 2305 and up are considered just compact, did you notice any major quality differences/ capability differences between the two, and do you think this tractor would serve my business well. With 0% apr, you cant go wrong with a jd tractor, just gotta figure out which one is right.
@bpurdy305 I would go with the 1026.. The1023 is fine for doing stuff around the house, but the extra horsepower should help benefit ur landscaping. The 2305 is nice too, jus bigger.. I didnt even really look at the 2305..
this is an awsome tractor just wondering though could you post another video of you "playing in the dirt" with the loader, and also mowing and how big is the diesel tank? send me an email if you post one of you playing in the dirt at gpaseur@comcast.net
Just Bought a 1026R a week ago with the autoconnect 60in deck and H120 loader and i am absolutley pleased it! I was looking at the 1023E like yours but liked the tilt wheel on the 1026R because im a bigger guy lol. Was gonna buy a 2520 but had less room sitting on it and it had less power
@1meansledpuller If I had to do it over I would have spent the extra grand and bought the 1026r.. I love my 1023 but I would have liked to have the couple of extras that the 26 has..The tilt steering being one...lol.. Thanks for the comment!!
Nice tractor! I was out looking today and saw a 1026R and noticed it had a few more options, basically a little more horsepower and seat upgrade. Had 60D cutter and H120 bucket. I got sticker shock when they said $17,200 without setup and tax. I noticed you said $16k for yours. Does that seem right?
Also how's the ride, do those tires tear up the lawn and does the bucket move any faster up/dn?
@GideonJud612 Thanks!!!! The 1026 does have a few more options..That price seems about right....The ride is awesome. My friend/neighbor has a 26 horse BX Kabota that I just rode on for a bit and the Deere is wayyyyyy more comfortable..Those tires only tear up the lawn when Im in 4 wheel drive and make a sharp turn, other than that they are fine.. Thanks for your comment!!
@TheTrihorn1 I almost bought a Kubota, I had the paperwork filled out and everything.. Just happened to check the JD website before I signed and saw this tractor..They r nice also!!
Ok sounds good please let me know when you do I really wanna c how it's working!!
