I WANNA THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO, I WAS TOLD MY FIBROID WAS THE SIZE OF A BABIES HEAD, BUT NO OTHER EXPLANATION WHAT SO EVER. AND THE IT WOULD BE RISKY DUE TO ME BEING OVERWEIGHT, NO EXPLANATION ON WHY. I STILL NEED MORE INFO ON THE PRECEDURE AND WHY THE RISK DUE TO MY WEIGHT. I've been looking for videos about uterine fibroids, i've seen a lot but doesn't help much. Then finally..i found your video and it is a huge help for my better understanding of uterine fibroids. I'm planning to have an operation but i would like to have some knowledge about my fibroid. thank you for posting this video on youtube, it gave people the awareness of how to deal with their fibroids. My gyn brushed my symptoms off until my fibroid was very large. A hysteroscopy was recommended, but a surgical mistake caused peritonitis and I almost died. I learned later from another dr that the uterine lining thins at the area of the fibroid and risk of puncturing the uterus is high. My fibroid was too large to be removed by hysteroscopy and should have been removed through open surgery. I wish I had all the facts before choosing hysteroscopy.

My mom was operated in Mexico today, apparently the doctors consider this to be one of the most common surgeries. No sweat, it only took her three days, the analysis, and the operation on the third day after the doctors gave the go ahead, lasted two hours and some minutes, she was in and out. @Cpillin425 she had to go there because she can't afford medical insurance, and doesn't qualify for Medi-Cal, the operation here in California would have cost at least $10,000-$15,000, maybe even more, and my parents would have been years into this debt...guess what, problem solved. top notch Mexican doctors, top notch service, top notch clinic, she will be out by monday probably.

I thank Dr. Jacoby and Dr. Kerlan for this video. I have been recently been diagnosed with a fibroid about approximately 5 cm long. I have one child, and would like to have more someday. I have been getting the runaround from Kaiser Permanente and was told my only option was a hysterectomy. I was also told UFE and myectomy were procedures for women who do not desire to have anymore children. This video help me understand more about fibroids and my treatment options.

I am currently recoverying from having a myomectomy procedure. The fibroids looked exactly the same as mine did the size of a small childs head and 2 clemintines, very painful and the bleeding was off the scale. I actually told my doctor i thought i had it 3 yrs earlier was sent away and the symptoms got worse i.e. experienced ,hairloss,miscarriage like periods over a 3 days period out of 7 days so horrid. I found out the other day that it runs in my family, which explains everything about the issues I have been having for the last two years. Like my grandma was, I am only 20. I am going to see a doctor very soon to see if I do have them.

Thank God for this video presentation, i had fibroids since i was 28 yrs old n my doc wanted to take out my uterous then but i wanted to have kids so i 've having normal periods somtimes heavy. I'm now 41 and clearly understand my condition before taking steps to treat it. Again Thank you so much.

My Doc. is wanting me to have a hysterectomy because of my fibroids but i want children i have miscarried 2 children behind my fibroids i am currently living with atleast 10 so large my Doc says it's like im 5 and half months pregnant im currently 28yrs old with no children and have been living with this since i was 18 yrs of age when i first miscarried. This info is great i will share with my doc.

After all my research of 2 years I have never heard of taking garlic to shrink the fibroids. I have fibroids myself and the only thing that has been working for me is nattokinase which is has always been mentioned just about on every website that I've done my researched
