It's actually pretty common for that to happen. For some reason when there's more than five aces on a field the AI sometimes forgets to cancel out of their Musou charge stance. Until you either A) attack them or B) bring down the total number of aces to five, the enemy ace will stay suspended.
Why was the Musha Mk. 1 just standing there at about 4:18?
