  • Mmmmmmmm deliciouso !!

  • @TheTwinkiecakes Thanks for stopping by!

  • that came out to about 30 minutes of cooking. is that right? are they tender that quickly?

  • @hespitfire No. 30 minutes is definitely not enough to make them tender. You need to cook these for a good 2 hours. Thank you for stopping by.

  • @pastryparrot1 that's what I thought. I misunderstood what I heard on the video, it sounded like they would be done that fast. well it looks awesome! thank you for posting it!

  • I am SOOO glad that I found this one. It is so easy! All of the other recipes that I found had me sauteing the ribs and stuff like that...I tried this once already and it worked out great in spite of the fact that I forgot to turn down the heat to 350. LOL. Making some more now so I get a great lunch for only $3.07! AWESOME!!!!

  • @lironess Very, very cool! I am happy this worked for you! Thank you so much for letting me know! I hope you have a wonderful day!

  • Could you show you the show you take the back menbraine off?

  • Temps are way too high...low and slow. You also forgot to remove the membrane.

  • @FarmingFractals I like leaving the membrane intact for keeping the moisture and juices in during roasting.

  • 450F? 350? Ouch...

  • @pastryparrott1 they seemed tough you have to make sure they dont dry out did you marinate them?

  • @msvibrant2323 Thank you. I appreciate you coming by.

  • @ScreamingInDigital0 Hi there! I think your plan is golden! Yes, cook these at lower heat for longer. Yes, add water to the pan and yes add some liquid smoke and wood chips to the water. Your ribs will be fabulous! Thank you so much for coming by!

  • When you say "broil them", what temperature and at how long? Sorry, not very good in the kitchen.

  • @momothebored Most ovens have a broiling unit on the top. These are very hot so you need to be very careful not to burn them. Thank you for coming by!

  • yummy

  • @amyvo989 Thank you!

  • Great Recipe, I added Bacon to the "add bbq sauce" stage and it made it that much better.

  • @johnnycee23 Great idea! Thanks for trying these out and letting me know. Have a great week!

  • What an odd way to do ribs. They are hard as a rock. cooked way to fast. My ribs would fall apart as you pull them out of the pan. LMAO...You are cutting yours with a knife!

  • @zenith1011 Thanks for coming by!

  • You can't make BBQ in the oven, BBQ isa method of cooking food with with the heat and hot smoke of a fire, smoking wood, or hot coals of charcoal. Putting something in the oven and putting BBQ sauce on it does not make it BBQ.

  • The time you say in the video is different from the time on the written recipe. Why is that?

  • @chynadoll4338 The times on the written recipe are longer than the video because some people have been complaining that their ribs were too tough. Longer, slower cooking will render more tender meat.

  • @chynadoll4338

    Yea, that's confusing

  • first time a webpage told me bon apatite

  • @StuffingMyTV Thanks for coming by! Have a great week!

  • thanks. just bought a new oven! will def. try this out today

  • @Lemon17ful Great! I hope they come out wonderful! Make sure to cook them for a long time! Have a great week!

  • putting bbq sauce on baked ribs is not bbq. you should definitely change the title of this video

  • Thank you.....

    Really good..

  • @MiguelElMojo You are welcome! I am happy you like it. Have a great week!

  • delicious!!!

  • @maumendoza1 Thank you!

  • how long to broil them? you didn't mention a time.

  • @sticky667 Broil them enough for your bbq sauce to caramelize. You need to keep a close eye on them at this point so they do not burn. Thanks for coming by!

  • WOW THIS WAS AWESOME! LOVE THE RUB I WILL USE IT EVERY TIME NOW! :)

  • @SuperTriPD Thank you! I am happy this worked for you! Have a blessed 2011!

  • that makes me so hungry even if i don't like the boiling part

  • @NeeenO7 Thanks for coming by! Happy 2011!

  • nice nails

  • Thank you so much for this video and the recipe I just finished doing the rub and tasted it as I do everything before adding to my meat and the rub is oh so good I am now making your bbq sauce and it tastes just as good wil let you know exactly how they turn out. Once again thank you and keep the good food coming.

  • @Naimah717 My pleasure! I hope they are wonderful! Remember - if you want them to be more tender simply cook them for longer. Take care and thanks for coming by!

  • Can you boil them first......... does't that make less hard more fall off the bone?

  • @curlitop92 You can boil ribs, however, I never do. I find that it depletes the fat too much. Thanks for coming by!

  • @curlitop92 Boiling them also takes away a lot of the flavor, if you go to a good butcher you can ask for young ribs it seem that the older the pig the longer it will take to cook and make tender.

  • @MrMalprac Hi! No, microwaving these will not work. You could prep them early and leave them cooking in a really slow oven while you go to work. Perhaps? They would be really, really tender by the time you get back. (I am making the assumption that you could get to them in about 6 hours and that you would be comfortable leaving the oven on unattended). Otherwise, how about some Crock-pot beef ribs? I have those on the web site. Thanks for coming by!

  • i did everything you said and they were undercooked.

  • @kensta2468 I am sorry this did not work for you. As I stated in the instructions, you can cook these for longer if desired. Every oven is different so times can vary. Thank you very much for trying it out.

  • Hi,

I love the way you present your vids. I would like to know what camera and recording/editing system you use. The way you show the work area and not bounce allover the place is perfect. Do you record voice at the time you make the dish or dub it in later?

So many questions and so little time.

I look forward to hearing from you or send me to someone else that I can ask questions to?

    Eddie

  • @TheCheffEddie Hi Eddie! I use a little JVS video camera that cost $450. I use a tripod and record my voice as I cook. I do not do it separately. I use Adobe Premier 8 to edit. I hope this helps! Thanks and god luck!

  • SORRY YOUR COOKING TIMES AND TEMPERATURES AARE BULLSHIT, LOW AND SLOW AFTER A BRIEF SEAR IS THE WAY TO MAKE BEEF RIBS, MY FRIEND

  • @AAAAA5001 way to be an asshole

  • @AAAAA5001 have you always been a jerk? Scumball

I think she is 1st class all the way....she know what she is doing so I would think she is a couple steps ahead of your nasty boy

  • Im going to try this tonight, my only question is do u recomend pulling off the membrane from the back before cooking? Ive seen many recipes were they do.

  • @itsstillme123 Good morning! I have 4 or 5 other videos on cooking ribs in which I show you how to remove the membrane. Although I do not always do it, it is recommended in order to get more tender, flavorful meat. I hope these come out great for you. Go ahead and cook them longer if you want them to be more tender. Have a great weekend!

  • nice tips,thanx

not to try and be rude, but you kept repeating what you were about to do over and over again- the pace of the videos would be quicker if you just said it once and then repeated it...but thanx for the video

  • @TheeBobOv Thanks for coming by. I appreciate it. Have a great night.

  • i slow cook em on 170 for about 5-6 hours then throw em on the grill. fall off the bone!!!!

  • @johndawson420 sounds like a plan

  • i slow cook em on 170 for about 5-6 hours then throw em on the grill. fall off the bone!!!!

  • excuse me excuse me. Can u send me the exact recipe for this? Pls

  • @Greatnesskiss I will e-mail you the link. Thanks!

  • They looked nasty. U have to smoke them and if the only way u can cook them is in the oven then do it much slower than she did like 200 to 225 no higher!!

  • @ediot6969 I bake mine for about 6 hrs at 200-250

  • i love how you handle the meat... rubbing it up and down really gettin down and dirty...

seriously though, looks delicious, im gonna try this next week!

  • hi could you please send me the recipe? which taste better, pork ribs or beef ribs? which are the most populars? thank you so much for your answer

  • @jogline Sure! Thanks for coming by! I will send you a recipe for pork baby back ribs as well. Beef ribs are tougher than pork ribs but they are both very tasty.

  • Great Job!

  • @dallaswallas99 Thank you very much! I wish you an amazing weekend!

  • Soo....What temp do you start off with? cause i heard you mentioned 450 then 400. Can you put a list of what u used on the siddebar? I went to your website and I couldn't find a list of ingredients or directions listed.

  • @xdieannax I am emailing you the link to the page on my site that has this recipe - all instructions included! Thanks!

  • why do you never put sauce on the bottom or bone side of the ribs? in both rib videos you have you only brush sauce on the meat side and never the bottom

  • @bleeb129 I don't put sauce on the bone

because I don't find it necessary.

However, If you would like to do so that's

great! I find that too much sauce can be

overkill. Thank you so much for coming by!

  • They look good, but why did you conceal the cutting part..... is it because they are too tough?

  • At the time I was just learning how to use my camera. Have improved quite a bit with practice. These ribs are not tough. If you want them to be more tender cook them longer.

  • Thanks for your clarification, I wasn't sure at the time.

  • Bon Appetit to you too,job well done.

  • its not a fall off the bone..looks hard

  • I prefer the semi hard texture on ribs. they look just perfect to me ! with some steak fries hmmmmm dang I'm hungry now !

  • Sounds good to me! Thanks for coming by and watching! I appreciate it. Take care.

  • Patience is a virtue when it comes to ribs.....if you want 'em falling off the bone, you've gotta cook 'em slow and low.....I go with a total of 5 hours at 250, and that's after almost 2 hours of sitting with the rub on them before they go in the oven. Not to mention, they come out with so much more flavor when they cook in their own juices for so much longer.

  • i love it....

  • Thanks for watching!

  • i accidently put the bbq sauce on the ribs before ever cooking it, is that ok

  • No worries! Go ahead and cover the ribs with foil until they are cooked through. Otherwise the bbq sauce will burn! Take the foil off and then apply some more bbq sauce and follow the final instructions! Happy cooking!

    Mary Ann

  • You should try removing the membrane off the back of the ribs, it will make them more tender, and the seasoning can make it into the meat. Covering them in the early stages will make them more tender as well

  • You are absolutely right about the membrane. I excluded that part in this video and regret doing so! However, I show everyone how to do this on the grilled spareribs video. Thanks for watching an commenting! I really appreciate it and hope you have a great day!

  • exactly how tender are these ribs? tenderness is what I'm going for.

  • your website is way too slow..

  • Thank you for coming by my site. The Frugal Gourmet was a very respected chef, may he rest in peace. However, your accusations of me stealing his identity are ridiculous. The main theme at The Frugal Chef is cooking healthy food frugally. What is more, I am not a foreigner as you suggest. Wow.

  • Frugal Chef, I love your recipes! I have been to your website and have tried the bbq rubs, salsas (tomatillo is my fav), and bbq sauce (the best). Keep adding recipes please!

  • Thank you! I am so happy you are trying out the recipes and loving them! You made my day!

  • do you remove the fascia before you cook them..?

  • Yes you do! This makes it a lot easier to eat after they are cooked!

  • I'm getting ready to make some ribs.... thanks for the recipe!. You know, you remind me of Lidia Bastianich. God bless you beautiful thing... I wish I had a woman like you. I'm gonna check the website out...thanks!

  • Thank you so much for your kind comments! I hope the ribs come out wonderful!

  • ty you're great

  • Thank you very much!

  • my fav. today! thank you for posting, cheers! KtC
