"how can you be intimately involved with a man who does not say 'Jesus is Lord' " How about 1 Corinthians 7:13-14 "And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy."
@medisue Not sure what your Scripture verse has to do with this video. ...."Why CHOOSING an unbeliever for a spouse is wrong". 1 Cor. 7:13-14 is for believers in Corinth who are already married and have come to the Lord. God's word is clear that a believer should never BECOME yoked with an unbeliever. This was an excellent explanation for those who struggle with feelings for someone outside their faith. We should never choose verses to validate what is right in our own eyes.
What happens when you die?Have you told lies, stolen, used God's name in vain(10 Commandments)? If yes, then you're a liar, thief, and a blasphemer in the sight of God. When you die & be judged by God, you'll be guilty of sin, & go to Hell! But God sent His Son Jesus to shed His blood & die on a cross for your sins, He was buried & rose again from the dead on the third day. If you'll believe the Gospel(Jesus's death for your sins,His burial & resurrection)you'll not perish & have eternal life
But explain me this: what if there isn't a christian man to marry for a christian woman? And I'm not talking about a muslim ar buddhist, but they all are baptised as christians, but are not born again? It's easy to say to someone: you have to live alone for your whole live 60 years , and not have children, and die alone, but it's another thing to do it yourself! Bible also says: "it's better to marry than burn". Explaine me this contradiction!
@agfigueroaa REALLY?!!? You should see my little town in my little country, and the little church, where everybody are married!! Nice advice, just move! Thanks. Will you send the money for moving for me, and give me a new job from there, and what if no christian man wants me, or exists in there?? Your advice is childish, and only proves thet you don't know ANYTHING you are talking about, before you have actually done it yourself first. There are isolated islands in the world too, don't you know?
@agfigueroaa I AM! You shouldn't give your "advise" to anybody, if you are having sex with your wife every day. Don't teach others what to do, if you are not doing to same first! I bet you have been happily married for what, 50 years and are blessed with children and grandchildren who keep the company at holidays, care for you when you are old and bury you.I don't have it THANKS TO PREACHRS LIKE YOU!You talk the talk but don't walk the walk first! Don't teach others what you can't keep yourself!
@agfigueroaa but this man is married, he has a ring. Besides, you can wait and search a believer wife and have children when you are 55. I can't. We are different.
Look at my other comment before looking at this one . Now I know I can't divorce her on the grounds of her not converting to be a christian .In the video John Said something about " IF they won't convert then the lord will SUSTAIN YOU" What does he mean and where can I find it in scripture?
@geniusman2500 I am unsure, but maybe 1 Cor.? When it says something like "if your wife is not converted, stay with her so that she might convert" ?
However, I am unclear what is forbidden to divorce or to re-marriage? .. to the latter I am unsure it is forbidden absent your couple is unfaithful. But, to divorce? I personally believe that divorce is not the rule, but the exception.
(Pertaining to this video) What about this situation....... I became a die hard christian AFTER I married my wife. I've been following the lord passionately ever since. The thing is she admitted she doesn't want to be a christian "AFTER" i became one. I married her with the intentions of us BOTH becoming christians to grow in the lord together. So do I divorce her or just hang on to this situation until the rapture happens? Is that why the bible describes Matthew 24:40 and 24:41?
@geniusman2500 pray for her true salvation , that she would be broken by sin and turn to the one true God. 1 cor. 7 talks about marriage with non-believers, but regardless, you should try your hardest to stay in your relationship cause it is the PERFECT oportunity to share the gospel!!! but if she HATES God and what you have to say about how much he loves us and she decideds to leave because you talk about God too much, vs15 says let it be so., but try to share the truth with her
On the subject of evolution, I would doubt to call it indoctrination. The development of evolutionary theory is based upon methodological naturalism and rational empiricism. It based upon the examination of the available evidence. Evidence based education is hardly indoctrination. If you have an alternate theory based upon the available physical evidence including explanations of comparative morphology, population genetics, bio-geography, fossil evidence and isotope analysis, then show it.
@JEGranberg It seems to me, from what I read, that you are indoctrinated. Evolution consists of one fundamental claim: "A species can turn into another species by gradually changing the structure." I think there is not evidence of the kind you list that support this claim. In point of fact, a non-indoctrinated person would have realized that many individuals interpret the same scientific findings as evidence of other beliefs, namely Creationism.
@JEGranberg Even evolutionists say that some of the things you listed are not evidence. In particular, fossil records, and morphology. When Creationists look at that phenomena they say "Intelligent Design", and when Evolutionists examine the same phenomena: "Ohh! It is evolution".
The main thing to keep in mind: If nobody can make a species 2 turn into another species in a experimental setting, then Evolution is a historical, not a scientific matter. Science can explain observable phenomena.
@agfigueroaa Scientists would not expect to see "one species turn into another" within the course of a human lifetime or under constant observation. It uses "strong inference" to make this conclusion. As an example in law, an eye witness is not required to convict another person of murder. It uses the available evidence to come to a conclusion. Science CANNOT use any metaphysical claims, such as intelligent design, because it cannot observe metaphysics. Evolution is a science...
@JEGranberg Evolution is a science because it can allow for falsifiable hypotheses and has demands for demonstrable, repeatable evidence. "Intelligent Design" totally lacks these two requirements. If "Intelligent Design" advocates want to promote their position in the sciences, then they must provide their evidence and subject it to peer review. For an easier understanding of what science is and does look up "Michael Shermer: Baloney Detection Kit". Evolution is a natural history SCIENCE!
@agfigueroaa 1. Atheism is NOT a religion. Watch 'The 5th Foundational Falsehood of Creationism" by AronRa. 2. Correct definition of Science. 3. Human history is not repeatable, Natural History (a subset of science) seeks to find repetition of pattern and to explain what happened in the past. These are not separate disciplines. I have examined the claims of ID and found that it fails because it does not subscribe to scientific methodology.
@JEGranberg There are journals and magazines where you can publish if you agree with their editorial line. This statement that the peer-review guarantees the correctness of a piece of work is false. Reviewers can reject a paper because they were not cited, or simply because they do not believe in the research trend of the authors. Thats the reason you have the Journal of Creation and other Evolutionist journals.
I guess you have never submitted a paper, and do not know the system.
@agfigueroaa I am very cognizant of scientific publications, having performed research, written, edited and published articles as a doctoral student in evolutionary ecology. The "Journal of Creation" or likewise publishers are not examined in the scientific community because they are inherently not scientific. If ID proponents want their research to be taken seriously by the scientific community, then they must subscribe to scientific methodology. Until they do, they will be ignored.
@JEGranberg I am afraid to say that you need to check the basics of the scientific method. Your line of reasoning is saying "since ID is metaphysics", then Evolution is science. Your flaws are the following:
1. The scientific method is applied to observable phenomenon. Evolution is not observable in terms of species. Thus Science cannot be used to support the validity of the hipotheses aforementioned.
2. Precisely, the scientific method expects observable phenomenon as a means of avoiding ...
@agfigueroaa Evolution is observable within species, we can measure quantitative changes in population genetic structure. Repeated surveys of the same populations undergoing environmental pressure exhibit changes in allele frequencies. Intelligent Design is inherently metaphysical because it claims that a higher intelligence "God", a metaphysical entity, directed the organismal line of descent. Further, ID has not falsifiable hypotheses. Read Karl Popper and Thomas Kuhn.
@agfigueroaa wrong inferences. An example: I can have a huge glass and start filling this glass drop by drop. After the 100th drop I could say "ooh the glass can contain an infinite amount of water". But, since we can see the whole process, we know the glass has limitations, namely volume. This is the pertinence of an observable phenomenon.
The challenge is to you: check any definition of the scientific method for phenomenon non-observable. Thats the bottom line.
@agfigueroaa With your assertion of non-observable phenomenon, then how do you explain fossils? "No one has ever watched an organism fossilize, so we cannot assert that fossilization occurs." No one has ever seen subatomic particles or other exotic particles, but we can infer their presence and so we can test hypotheses.
Appears to be an example of positive in-group selection. Outsiders, who lack a confirmation of the 'Christianity meme', appear to be threats to the indoctrination of current subjects and future generations. How better to keep unwanted ideas out of the in-group, then to deny reproductive privileges?
@JEGranberg It might appear 2u, but not 2 me. There is a difference between indoctrination and education. In Christianity, there is no indoctrination as several alternatives are presented 2 members. Nevertheless, the fact that only evolution is taught in the schools (and not other alternatives), makes this an indoctrination.
Anyways, ur line of reasoning is flawed as children of church members are commonly non-Christians. In general, non-Christian parents give moral values 2 their children.
NO! It does not mean, marry to someone under the lord.
"free to be married to whom she wishes, only in the Lord."
Only in the lord, means only if the lord wishes it. It does not mean, he has to be a christian. It means She has find it in HERSELF not in you, you control freak, that she truly wishes to marry him.
It is telling women to be honest of who they want to marry, not they should marry only a particular group of men.
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." -Gal. 5
This sin is idolatry.
Let the Bible speak and let's abandon the heresy known as Calvinism.

1. Religion deals with metaphysics, thats what Christianity, Atheism and other religions do.
2. Science deals with the physic and observable world.
3. history deals with events that happened once and cannot be replicated experimentally.
I prompt you the following question: Have you checked the evidence or the interpretation of evidence for ID?

Nope. A lady is a lord. Just as a girl is a guy. An actress is an actor. Ellas son Ellos.
A female can be called a male.
Read up Egyptian Hatsheput and other rulers who had given themselves male titles.
