The fire is very unfortunate news! Hopefully it will be gotten under control. There very will could be rain coming up, though, which after a fire can bring the threat of mudslides. I'm hoping for the best, or at least not the worst.

It looks like the observatory's gonna make it through unscathed. Close call there--unfortunately, fire has caused at least two deaths, many many homes lost.

I am allways astounded when people acuse sceptics of worshipping science because the reverence i feel for the discoveries of science are entirly based on what has been showen to be reasonable to asume not on any type of faith. equally the idea that science is some sort of sinister entity is often promoted by the very same people despite the obvous stupidity of this anthropomorisation of science. great videos nice work

It's just a way to make an abstract historical figure seem somewhat more real.

You tie the abstract to the concrete, and it's maybe a bit easier to understand that Einstein wasn't just some guy from a physics text book, but a person not so very different from yourself, who once was where you are now.

Perhaps a bit overly dramatic, but something worth thinking about, nonetheless.

The reason why he didn't tell people where he was going to be and when is because he didn't plan any of it. He originally planned on letting people know but he put up a video saying that he didn't really know how long it would take him to reach the destinations. He has more freedom to do what he wants this way.
