I saw this movie for the very first time in 1986. My relatives & I visited my grandfather at his apartment one saturday. This movie popped up on tv and we sat around to watch it. When there was still a half hour left to go in the movie, it came time to go out to eat. I wanted to stay and watch the rest of the movie, but I had to go out with the rest of them. So I missed how it ended. About 12 years later I buy a used VHS copy of this movie on eBay & FINALLY got to see the movie in its entirety.
I was 18 when this premiered at the theater. I went to see it...and LOVED it! Still one of my favorites. This should be shown....every Secretary's Day! :) Sadly, this was near the end of the great movie musicals.
You can see the Bob Fosse influence in the dancing!

Chances are without 'How to Succeed', there would not have been a 'Nine to Five'.

And you wonder what Mr. Bratt was doing behind his door 0.0

I love this film so much, and I'm not even half-way through it yet. I love the dancing and the singing and of course, the tongue-in-cheek sarcasm.

@itzsoeasy1960 I know! She could be Joan Holloway's far less intelligent cousin.
