I attended UND from 1976-1981, lived in the DU house on the Coulee (505 Princeton) where we had to endure a flood in '78 (I think it was) with pumps and a few thousand sandbags. Quite an ordeal but we worked together for a common goal and it turned out fine. Good school, great people. Thanks for the pics. BTW, I still have my navy pea coat from Silverman's Men's Wear. LOL (and may he R.I.P.)
Thanks for the video I live in warren and was caught in the 97 flood and I had my twins during the evacuation of S. Washington and ended up having them at the air force base. I hope this doesnt get as bad as it did then. I also hope they have a bit more compassion than they did for a hugely prenant lady standing out in the middle of the highway trying to get to the doctor while in labor. But you probably wouldnt want to hear that story lol thanks for the vid real kewl.
Thanks for posting these I have been so curious to see what things look like. I found on the net a lot of fargo info but I used to live and go to school in Grand Forks/UND. Interesting to see things you are familiar with to put it all into perspective. I remember walking on the paths that are wayyyyy under water now.
