While there may be others who are faster, or who play a little cleaner, Ace is a natural. I just wonder how great he would have been if, he focused more on his playing than partying when he was with Kiss. Well, what I would assume is that a cover band was probably playing at myrtle beach, and Ace was there for some reason, and it just so happened that Ace was in the area, and decided to do a surprise / guest appearance and performed shock me.
since the KISS coffee house is located there, and KISS members have been seen there a good few times in the past.

It isn't about the money, it's about the love of KISS. They're members of the KISS Army and are really great guys and I don't appreciate people talking shit about them.
It might have been Ace playing with a Kiss tribute band but it was a lot cheaper (and more entertaining) than shelling out for the 'real' Kiss (Paul & Gene) who've become a tribute to themselves with two sidemen dressed as Ace and Peter & playing for crowds who either don't know or don't care that it isn't the genuine article.

nowadays i always get a weird feeling when i see a current picture or video of ace. although his voice is still the same, he looks nothing like he used to. when i see his face, i kno that he's ace frehley, but my mind doesn't comprehend that that face is the face of the original lead guitarist of kiss.

I've been playing guitar 4 nearly half my life dude, I do actually know a thing or 2..
I will admit he's not the greatest ever but still good, he was very innovative at the time and played with alot of feeling.
oh and I have most of steve vai's albums and dvds so I have listened to him a bit lol.

That's The KISS Tribute Band "Mr. Speed" from Cleveland, Ohio. A great group of guys who put on one hell of a tribute show. And as far as the remark about Tommy Thayer... I guess you would have rather had KISS just quit touring and recording back in 1982 when Ace first left the band. Get real! THE SHOW MUST GO ON! And it has for 35 years! Oh and for non KISS fans...why do you waste your time even posting comments on a KISS video. Negative remarks, why? Don't waste your typing skills!

it was good footage, its the audio that wasnt that great. u really have to have a good camcorder. u have to look/read between the lines on this. and yes its all about the Money. hell the guy playin Paul looked and sounded like Paul. fooled me.

That was filmed at the KISS Coffeehouse in Myrtle beach in June. The tribute band was Mr Speed. KISS Now and FOREVER!!!!

It might have been Ace playing with a Kiss tribute band but it was a lot cheaper (and more entertaining) than shelling out for the 'real' Kiss (Paul & Gene) who've become a tribute to themselves with two sidemen dressed as Ace and Peter & playing for crowds who either don't know or don't care that it isn't the genuine article.

Ace Frehley sitting in (at least I hope he was JUST sitting in for a song or two) with a Kiss Tribute Band....Yep, his career has officially come full circle. I look forward to seeing him at High School Graduation parties this Summer...

nowadays i always get a weird feeling when i see a current picture or video of ace. although his voice is still the same, he looks nothing like he used to. when i see his face, i kno that he's ace frehley, but my mind doesn't comprehend that that face is the face of the original lead guitarist of kiss.
