  • kim jong il has let himself go

  • David Lynch is lookin' good.

  • Commenters on youtube have let themselves go.

  • Stephen Lee has let himself go

  • KD Lang looks terrible.

  • Peter Kay has let himself go!

  • I've never done one of those comments before that are about ironic views over "who or/ how many dislike this video" which I now ironically find them to invoke trolling YET ironically I must say that the only dislike (so far) must have been the kid with the fucking stupid look on his face after his fire truck went to 72 pieces....

  • What on earth has happened to Roland Gift?

  • Stewart Lee fantastic comedy. different league.

  • "Can I have a backdrop?"

    "Yeah. What would you like?"

"Can it be of my face?"

"Yeah, we'll just distort it a bit"

    "What?"

  • His delivery throughout this entire set is absolutely mesmerising.

  • leonardo di caprio's let himself go, badly

  • chris issak's let himself go.

  • i lost it at "i've got a little grub, he only sees things from a larval perspective" :)

  • "0 dislikes" nuff said

  • Was he imitating Harry Hill for the coke addict there?

  • @PsySwitch1983

sounds like lee evans to me

  • It makes me sad that most people are too thick to appreciate Stewart Lee, he's a genious. Yet people pay a fortune to see morons like Russell Howard jump around and make jokes about their mum

  • @creasicle

Says the man who can't spell genius nor string a particularly coherent sentence together. Or put a full stop at the end of a sentence.

  • @Pepotamo1985 How was my comment incoherent? I didn't realise I was opening myself to a debate about discourse when I wrote it, I just thought it was youtube. I'm so sorry I spelled "genius" wrong, I was probably drunk when I wrote it. You have too much time on your hands (no full stop dickhead)

  • @creasicle

    Well said!

Grammar Nazis are absolutley pathetic and usually failures in life (hence their love of picking up on others trivial errors) - [also no full stop]

  • @Pepotamo1985 or? shouldn't their be a "," not a full stop

  • @LewisBryanJamieson Without wanting to sound like a grammar nazi myself... NO! End a sentence with a comma? Are you insane?

  • @rofubatf I mena he started a new sentence with a capital Or, should it be "together, or put" not together. Or put" :P

  • that would be exactly appropriate

  • Don't ever dream

  • I love that he actually came up with an aphid joke!

"Thatcher... remember? The Milk Snatcher, snatching all the milk"

  • "That'd be exactly appropriate!

Don't know why that line made me laugh so much but I literally spat my drink over my laptop :D

  • I admire his originality. I don't think his material is as layered as people seem to think. It's all quite basic. It's more his methods of delivery that are quite abstract.

  • @RanpatMcMurphy Yeah I kinda' agree, some of the things he says like "Who's killed a grasshoppper, C'mon!" isn't all that funny in itself, but the delivery is hilarious.

  • I'd love to see him live. He's like no one else.

  • @TheAverageFox: I saw him a while back -- was excellent. Go!

  • "Is it innovation or a mistake?"

    Hah!

  • Stewart `lee you make me howl! Wonderful...

  • i wanna fucking see this pestival set

  • @jageiosjgaeiojg buy the DVD, there's an extra feature of him performing at pestival. Though sadly minus the insect costume and shouting "ARE YOU A SARDINE?!" at everybody.

  • He'll come back, probably

  • Would be funnier if he took the drink from a member of the audience. Sorry, I know that's a mundane observation.

  • @Alceste1977 It's a fine one.

  • Can I have a backdrop?

    Yeah. What would you like?

Can it be of my face?

Yeah, we'll just distort it a bit.

    What?

  • is it innovation or a mistake.

  • cesspit with lights !

  • lol love it when he gets into the crowd. very unique.

  • seeing him in edinburgh on saturday

  • dont ever dream... LOL that kills me

  • Comedy perfection

  • a cesspit with lights

  • Hoping to see him next month. Pure comedic genius.

  • shut the fuck up mate

  • I luuuuuuurv insects!

  • The toy fire truck bit and his off-stage rant are two of my favourtie stand-up moments of all time. Lee rocks.

  • The best stand comedian I've ever seen. Just seen his new show live 'if you prefer a milder comedian, please ask for one'. The man is a genius and is simply beyond comparison.

  • me too man, seen in wolverhampton was awesome

  • I'm so excited to see him this Sunday.

  • I'm seeing him in Bristol on the 23rd. He's just brilliant live.

  • One of the most progressive comedians I've ever seen.

  • I love the way even the thought of doing any kind of observational comedy like that seems to make him mad - the way he snatches that microphone, it's like it's driven him mad just thinking about doing a routine like that!

  • whilst dressed as an insect

  • "that would be exactly appropriate" lmao

  • Here's how dumb I am. The first two times I watched this, I thought it was "while stressed as an insect" and not "whilst dressed".

Admit it, Stew would be the kind of guy to do POV of an insect being an insect while stressed as an insect... and the mandible thing, well, it would fit.

    ;)

  • I've watched this piece at least 10 times and thought it was "stressed as an insect" all this time.

    Ass

  • Stewart Lee is like a fine wine, just gets better with age!

  • That's so apt!

  • Don't ever dream.

  • Grabs the pint and turns on the bitterness. Very clever man. Superb control of comedy tone throughout this show.

  • When I first seen that I knew I was in the presence of greatness.

  • i lurve insects

  • I saw Stewart Lee at Pestival - he was ace!

  • how? are you an insect scientist?

  • Fucking genius!

  • Although I wish them all the success in the world, there's something darkly hilarious about (commercially) second-rung veteran comics joking about their career misfortunes. You should look up Doug Stanhope 'Dead Sport' for an equally funny take on it, god bless Lee, he is alternative comedy in its most literal form.

  • This is comedy on a different level - !!!!
