  • excellent workkkkkkk

  • ma'am, you are really talented! I wanna be a cake decorator when I grow up!

  • אני לא מאמינה אתה ישראלי? :O

  • Is that flower glue that you used to stick the pearls on the black blossoms?

  • @raxephx263 - No. You do not need any flower glue. You can use 50% gum paste and 50% fondant to make the flowers,or you can also add a little CMC to your fondant if you don't have gum paste. To stick you can use just water or even sugar syrup or meringue powder mixed in water or even royal icing. What ever is available. Sugar sticks to sugar very easily. I hope that helps.

  • hello! your cake is beautiful! I want to ask if you can keep in the fridge?, I want to make a cake for my sister, do not know how to keep it cold. I hope your answer, kisses from Argentina

  • @jucelocta

Thanks, I'm glad you like my cake. You do not need to keep the cake in the fridge. You can keep fondant decorated cakes in the fridge but not with the royal icing and flowers. Those will soften when you get it out of the fridge. I suggest you use a cake filling that does not need to be in the fridge. If the weather is hot only crumb coat the cake lightly on the outside. Decorate the cake and leave it out in a cool dry place. Hope that helps. check my website for more FREE videos

  • Ok, what is in that little puff you keep pouncing on the board and the fondant? Corn starch?

  • @TearfulShadows That little puff is a mix of cornflour and powder sugar. I use it to keep the fondant from sticking. Some people use veg shortening /Crisco. But in hot and humid places like Israel that can be a very messy situation. I hope that helps. Watch more Free Videos on my website - membership is free. Veenaartofcakes

  • @veenamiranda I bet it will come in handy actually, you use less than sprinkling the powdered sugar so it probably doesn't dry the fondant out as much. I've been playing with using more fondant now that I know I don't have to use the icky store bought stuff, so I can use lots of advice! Thank you!

  • @TearfulShadows Yes, it mostly depends on the weather. The pouch is good if your a beginer. A good trick to use is once you've finished covering you cake with fondant, take a damp paper towel smear a litle bit of veg shortening over it. and wipe your fondant covered cake with this paper towel. Let the fondant dry completely before you continue decorating. Too much veg shortening will make your fondant shiny. You can just use damp paper towel too. Hope I helped.

  • @ac129103leha Depends on what kind you want.
