I don't get how they are knocking her experience as the VP nominee when she has WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY more executive experience than the democratic Presidential nominee.

Sarah Palin spent 4 years on the city council and 6 years as mayor of Wasilla, AK - a city with a population less than 6,000 people. She has spent less than 2 years as governor of Alaska, a state with a population less than 1/4 of the city of Chicago. In contrast, Barack Obama was a state senator in Illinois for 8 years and has been a U.S. Senator for almost 4 years. Obviously, Obama's experience is much more high level. So tell me, how is it possible Palin has more experience than Obama?

As for the question about SCOTUS decisions, Palin was asked which two she disagreed with the most. Sam Nunn wrote those questions, knowing they would be pounced on if they contradicted McCain's position.
Hopefully, if Palin is on a national ticket again, she will be prepped better for interviews than she was by the McCain campaign. We'll see.

This Election has been the weirdest I've ever witnessed. People dog Palin out on experience while she is a VP pick and Obama is at the top of the ticket and has less experience than Palin. It's amazing that people are so blind to see this.

That is ridiculous. Obama has FEDERAL experience, Sarah Palin has been the governor of a state with a population less than 1 million.
But its also ridiculous to talk about "experience" as if all people have equal talents, or characters. Obama is well-educated; Palin is not. Palin has a reputation for abuse of power, attempting to overstep her bounds even as mayor.

I know you weren't old enough to be expected to pay attention when Bush was elected, but we picked heart over brains in that one and that didn't work out so well.
Well-educated is different from smart. You DO pick a president for education, because competency helps a leader keep the country above water. That said, Both Obama and McCain are wrong on the important issues and I don't have much hope, competent or not.

Funny how some people think that one change must equal another change. Time for some real perspective. Not every person claiming they are for change mean that they will change things for the better. Listen, you can disagree with Obama all you want (btw he's not getting my vote), but the fact is, he is highly intelligent and he serves on 3 committees in regard to foreign relations (more than any other senator). He has co-sponsored several bills with Sen. Richard Lugar (R-IN) and has a record of improving the economic situation in the state of Illinois. I'm not a supporter of his, but that doesn't mean I'm going to buy into the rhetoric.

Sarah Palin spent 4 years on the city council and 6 years as mayor of Wasilla, AK - a city with a population less than 6,000 people. She has spent less than 2 years as governor of Alaska, a state with a population less than 1/4 of the city of Chicago. In contrast, Barack Obama was a state senator in Illinois for 8 years and has been a U.S. Senator for almost 4 years. Obviously, Obama's experience is much more high level. So tell me, how is it possible Palin has more experience than Obama?
