  • This is an indian song, has nothing to do with Ottoman also the pictures are not the realities of Ottomans. Those all are drew by Europeans as their imaginations!

  • This is beautiful! Thank you for the entire playlist!!

  • @marielicious73 agree it's kinda influenced with it

  • I am an Indian and i can definitely say that it is not an Indian Music.

  • So when I heard the Sitar and Tabla (Pure Indian Instruments) I knew this ain't no Turkish. At best its fusion.

  • si, esta musica no es de Turquia!!!!!!!!! this is not a Turkish song...:))))

  • To the people saying this isn't ottoman music, but pakistani or indu. India & Pakistan were also Ottoman. So this is a fusion between Paki & indu & Turkish = Ottoman!

  • @aszkanfederation28 It's like asian music beacuse it is -.- Oguz turks went to Middle East for Conquest from Central Asia (Far east ). And we saved much of our old musics and still we using old instruments that we bring from asia. Don't mix ottoman culture with other Middle-Eastren cultures, it's far diffrent

  • This is mixture of Indian and Turkish music and this amazing mixture becomes a bit like East Asian music .....far from being a typical middle eastern music..

  • this is not turk music

  • @Dogu87es this is ottoman classical, a mix of arabic, persian and byzantine music. no one said turkish sillyboo

  • @subsrebel & @kaashee

lets say its mix of both turkish and indian music

  • The Ottoman Empire is one of my favorite empires in history, I love Turkish culture and Turkey. :)

  • this is Indian music. it has sitar. this is not turkish or ottomani.

  • @kaashee nope this is pure turkish music. sitar has been made thousands of years before in persia etc not india.

  • @subsrebel trust me i know which sitar you are talking about.

The sitar being played here is the indian style sitar. beleive me because i play this same indian sitar. you are talking about turkish sitar.

the style of playing of the sitar in this is also very indian. cant you tell??!?!?!?!?!?!

do a youtube search for turkish and indian sitar. the indian one is in this. the main string instrument is not indian in this track though. but the side instrument is indian. truuuuust me.

  • @kaashee so what why are we fighting over music lol? it is nice thats all. i respect your opinions.

  • @subsrebel i really dont think you understand what i am trying to say- this has the INDIAN VERSION OF SITAR IN IT. cant you even tel the difference? im not saying sitar is indian origin.

  • allah senden razi olsun

  • Great song. But it doesn't really sound Turkish, it sounds more Indian.

  • great music !

  • fcuk off jalehtri our fathers fcuk the europe 700 years...is it easy for you ha ?

  • Incredible music. It calms my soul.

  • OMG !! beautiful!!!!

  • So nice and so soothing to the soul ,one can be amazed that how much deeply its related with the Pakistani music. It shows our common roots in the pages of history . Western people are mostly biased and ignorant about the greatness of Ottoman empire and Muslim glory in the medieval ages.

We as Muslims respect all the believes but fear to none of those,So we proudly give a damn to their biased individual and national characters.

    LONG LIVE TURKEY......LONG LIVE PAKISTAN

  • TURKISH SHOULD BE GREAT COUNTRY...BUT BECOUSE THEY AFTER ALKOHOL,,,WOMEN... FREEDOM NOT RESPONSIBLE...AND LEAVE ALL ABOUT ISLAM BEHIND THEIR BACK ,,,SO WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THEM... I HOPE THE NEW PRESIDEN BRING THEM BACK .....I WISH TURK BECOME SAMPLE ISLAM I MEAN GREAT ISLAM IN THE EOROPE,,,,,

  • @SUTIKNORJ99 Countries are defined by their history, and for Turkey, that's the Ottoman Empire, which was never fundamentalist Muslim. The empire legalized homosexuality in 1858. Christians and Jews were allowed freedom of religion, which is why Istanbul has so many mosques and synagogues. Raki was and is a national drink. Ottoman women could own property, run businesses, and sue in court. The empire never resembled Saudi Arabia; that's not a place it could go "back" to, as it was never there.

  • This sounds great, mashallah.

  • turk turkish music but also in the picture is absolutely the first of the picture is completely ridiculous that women do not wear much more modern turklerdeki Ottoman Empire ottoman turk on time so that even women, even Christian women to wear a more modern

  • its indian music...

  • Very beautiful music, Greatings from ARMENIA!! What happend Turkish brothers and sisters why are we enemies ?? Let's become friend again !! Best wishes!

  • @PeopleOfAr

I hope one day (soon) your beautiful wishes will come true,Just we are making each others life harder, actually no one can't be happy this way. we have no choice we need peace not only Turks and Armens, all of the world but I don't know how?

  • @1kafkasyali thank you for the kind words. However I don't believe world peace is possible, aggression and violence are also human traits that are part of what makes us human. The humans with no aggression probably died out from natural selection. killed or eaten by other species. Likewise the humans with too much aggression died because they couldn't work together which gave them a disadvantage. We are also social group animals.

  • @1kafkasyali As to Armenian-Turkish peace I believe this is very much possible in the near future. I mean look at Europe they were bashing each others sculls for thousands of ears. The fiercest worse occurred there including 2 world wars. Only 60 years ago they stopped fighting. Yet today they all stand united in a European Union. What, we can't do the same? I think we could do even better. And maybe in the future we will be part of a similar union. We could have Anatolian/Caucasian union :)

  • @PeopleOfAr

Hi my friend, if you really want an answer for this question, I recommend you this book "Le kemalisme devant les allies" from Michel Paillares, it's an old book but useful!

  • @PeopleOfAr cuz u r the worst traitors ever..we'll be never like old times again just the get the fuck out of around us..thz is enough..

  • @PeopleOfAr Well, you've got one more friend from now ;D

  • @PeopleOfAr

OMG It is the first time I see an Armenian friend is talking peace between Turks and Armenians,Very very nice behaviour, thanks for your nice comments. Facist Turks and Armenians must stop and we must try to make peace again, we lived 600years together in peace, we are not that different from eachother. Greetings from Turkey to Armenia!Best wishes too!

  • @zzeynepp18 yes it is true, but it is because we have both very hot blood so we get emotional very vast and we can curse and we get mad. But when we look with cool and clear head we can see we have so many similarities. I never had problem making friends with Turks if we speak respectfully from both sides there is no one who can stop us. I guarantee you if you speak respectfully to Armenians we will respect you as well. Look I left one friendly comment I get many friendly reactions from Turks.

  • @PeopleOfAr Cuz the others...i mean the forces between us.you know i mean?Greatings from Turkey to you my friend, best wishes..

  • @PeopleOfAr many thanks for your nice comment. its good to see that not all of us are enemies. greetings from turkey

  • @PeopleOfAr It is so good to read some writing from a real brother. I hope we will solve all problem. I hear always some thing about genocide but I don't know any thing about it. I hope we will be together in the name of humanity. Armenian people deserve more peaceful life like every person on the earth.

  • We need our Ottoman Lions to come back to life and save the whole Musilm Ummah from Zionist and from the curse upon human kind (Israel).

    Love from Pakistan.

  • türk milleti büyük yapan cenk ve cihad etmekten ali kooymak icin, basimiza "aditürk" bir sahte kahraman getirdiler.. "yurtda sulh cihanda sulh" bu oyunun slogani oldu ! bir önce ki genel kurmay baskani israil aglama duvarinda her halde bosuna ibadet etmeye gitmedi.. trt ne diyor? m. kemal ile basbug´un dedeleri ayni yerden geliyormus..!!!

  • they ruled 3 continents and they mixed all the stuff they learned from the people they ruled. not only music but way of living, and culture. and ofcourse they also influenced the people in their dominion with their unique culture. north africa is still living an ottoman life. for ex.

ottoman culture is like a cocktail, and the best of its kind. but today, under the control of nationalistic movement, turks have eliminated many aspects of their predecesor. especially arabic and persian effect.

  • Sounds very much like the sitar Indian music. Very beautiful.

  • @ctimur ctimur, cok ayip. Adin Timur üstelik :) Timur'un oglu hangi Imparatorlugu kurmustu? Babür Imparatorlugunu!

    Nerede?

    sevgiler.

  • @ctimur o konuda haklisin :)

  • God bless you Ottomans!

  • oke but this is sooo indian traditional...

common peepzz put a ottoman song instead

  • Indish music its beautyfull

  • müzik tamamlanmıyor sanki, parçanın tamamı yokmu?

  • This music has noting to do with Ottoman style. This is Indian music. What is played there is called sitar. If you write "raga" on youtube you can find similiar songs. I have never heard that Ottomans used sitar. Maybe I am mistaken. But this is absolutely Indian music.

  • 2:09 is fake

  • what ?

    2:09 !!!!!

  • This music has nothing to di with Ottoman music in my opinon. Yes, it has some common Turksh rithms that Otomans also used. Including the sound of oud or clarinet does not help too much.

  • . Yinon's music is not limited to one specific style. This can be seen through his collaborations with such artists such as the accomplished Turkish classical harpist Sirin Pancaroglu as well as his participation with the Turkish Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Israeli Andalusian Orchestra.

  • inon was born in Israel in 1968 to parents of Iraqi origin. He began his musical career playing Latin percussion but was drawn to Middle Eastern music going back to his roots. Through his career he has developed his own unique style, playing middle eastern percussion instruments such as the darbuka, the def, the bendir, the Iranian zarb, the kanjira (south Indian tambourine) and the Gatham (clay pot).

  • @lordClaremorris: its Yinon Muallem...the song calls (dedicated to my mother)

  • Saçmalamayın Türkiye'yi Osmanlının içinde yaşıyan aynı insanlar kurdu. Aynı insanlar cephelerde savaştı

  • pictures are ok.they are ottoman but i cant say the same things about this music. it is indian.but very nice :))

  • it sounds like hindu music-- doesn't have any similarities with Turkish music.

  • sound is belong to indian i think i am turk and i have not heard such as turkish sond yet

  • and beautiful song really !!! : ))

  • it's very beautiful : )

  • Evet kim götünden uydurdu bunu acaba

    This is not Ottoman-Turkish

  • Does anyone have an Mp3 of this, or know where I can get one?

  • this is early era of ottoman music ,we ve played this kind of music before being muslim in central asia aswell

  • I hear Indian classical and some other...is that Ottoman?

  • @LaggardInLove

yes it is seljuk empire music which is previous turkish empire in anatolia more than ottoman music

  • sounds more indian

  • This not Ottoman music

  • Yinon Muallem - Jani (Dedicated to my Mother)

  • it's not indian, its not Ottoman music.....

the person(s) who made this instrumental song is: Yinon Muallem - Jani (Dedicated to my Mother) so stop the fullish discussion;)

  • Osmanli muziginde Saz vardir sitar degil dostum.

  • The ottoman emperor is only the biggest-strongest and one that has so many different cultures all over the world

  • @veyselmaster 2,12 'deki resim gösteriyoki OSMANLI hakkındaki bildiklerin muhtesem yüzyıldan ibaret

kanı bozuk itler yeter ejdada yaptıgınız saygısızlık ...

  • this is indian sitar?

  • one of the best that I have heard

  • what is the name of this music, or which part of turkey

  • Why is every single piece of Turkish music on youtube full of racist commentary? Genetically, all human beings are related. No one is pure anything, ESPECIALLY not Turks, who are as "mixed" as Brazilians and Americans. Can you please get over your racist hangups? This music is really cool and interesting. Why can't you just enjoy?

  • I agree. This is good music! Just enjoy it and if anyone can't say anything nice here - don't say it at all!

  • @jalehtri

I couldn't agree more with you as a Turk...I hope each complexed identity will learn how to look at the world with a modest objectivity...

  • @jalehtri thats because the majority of people on youtube are racist worthless pieces of shit that say ignorant and foolish comments while not knowing anything....

  • @jalehtri

That because they are nationalists extreme ones by the way.. superior complex.. Iam a Turk ,myselfs but cant agree more..

  • @jalehtri fantastic comment my friend, thanks from a turk in the ''world we live in''.

  • "As long as nations stay in the world, nationalism will stay too."

  • @jalehtri

    Because there ARE differences.

  • @jalehtri You only need 1 bastard who gives negative comments and/or lies about the turks to get a couple of turks with anger problems react on it.

  • @jalehtri I totally agree. I see this type of arguing going on all over youtube, no matter what kind of music. Some people just always gotta try to prove how 'smart' or knowledgable they are or something, but they mostly just wind up sounding stupid :D

Basicially, humans just don't lke other humans--it's the one thing that unites us, it seems. So clam up peoples and listen!

  • @almishti True, though depressing :( Art should be above this nonsense. This is pretty music. Just enjoy!

  • @jalehtri hello my friend. Thank you very much for you're wise comment.

Much of comments are against turkish people and turkish nation. Why? just because people frome so called upper cultures are afraid of turkish people. They just see it as a threat. Who is the only people on earth who kicked europeans asses for centuries ???? Turks`!!!!!! NE MUTLU TURKUM DIYENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Till death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¨¨

  • @jalehtri

    Hahahahhahahah!!

Omg... You know nothing about Turks... Brazzilians and Americans?! Hahha... Americans, maybe... But we belond to far Asia, north of China mostly...

By the way, Turkish people are not more racist than any others. When there are dozens of countries being enemies of us, it is just normal to be a little more racist than normal. Mostly when we have one of the oldest and richest culture in the world. I don't know if you are Turkish or not but just check history of Turks.

  • @Neonalfax I did not say that we WERE Brazilians or Americans. I said that we were as ethnically mixed as Brazilians and Americans. We are part Mongolian, certainly, along w/being part Mediterranean, Arabic, Greek, Armenian, Jewish, African, and Slav, among others. Ottoman Empire was far ranging.

Turkish people, in my experience, can be racist. So can anyone else. Turks are human, no more or less hated, no more or less likely to hate others, than any other group of humans.

  • @jalehtri you dont get it.... you think we are racist becouse we love our country too much. We are proud of our culture history and past and so should you

  • @kaangazi96 I'm curious: What don't I get? What did you find objectionable in my post? I would really love it if you specified the issues you find problematic.

I am proud of the Ottoman past. It was artistically rich, and it was humane&liberal compared to other European powers of its day. Does that mean that I must pretend that the Empire and present-day Turkey are perfect? How is self-induced historical/psychological blindness proof of anything but idiocy?

  • @jalehtri i am turkish and i still agree with u my friend

  • I hear a sitar. Isn't that Indian intrument?

  • Yeah this is Indian music.

  • Yea, that's what I was thinking.

  • On re-listening, I think it's actually a fusion of different styles...

    hahahaha
