  • I am not down with the clown, cause you will only frown, but what I would like to know, is where did the purple suit go?

  • @Celestine70 , shirt is all I had in the closet, no budget for that little gig.

  • Remaking the Batman films with characters already used before was a cop out and shows a lot of lack of imagination today with film production overall. But having said that the box office receipts proved the trick still worked anyway.

  • ,@WorldTributes , well that's like saying "lets remake BATMAN' without Batman its the re visioning of these classic characters that is the true challenge...don't you think Heaths execution of the joker character was a fresh approch to a comic book icon that has seldom been approached in this way outside of the comic book universe?

  • @DoranArtMedia Actually i diden't even like the film and no there was nothing special about his performance as the joker. Check out the Joker Blogs videos on youtube well worth a watch. I have watched a serious amount of films over the years and the Batman films, Bond films and Terminator films are becoming a very overused and tired formula. But there is a whole new audience out there who haven't watched a lot of films so for them obviously the experience is different.

  • ,@WorldTributes , well I just looked the joker blows that you "promoted" and I find it ironic that you don't recognise what heath did as "special" but you like some guys bad impersonation of what heath created...joker blog is like watching a generic Michael Jackson impersonator doing a shitty moonwalk. Christopher nolan resusateted a damaged franchise and in "my" opinion did a fine job. Can't wait for the third movie.

  • @DoranArtMedia The Joker Blogs - The Dark Knight Before Christmas is the video i was referring to and that is pretty much a identical performance i think. I don't see what is so great about that Joker incarnation compared to Jack Nicholson's performance. I enjoyed all the original Batman releases even the much slated Batman and Robin with George Clooney. The last 2 have lost that fun element to them. Tommy Lee Jones was also brilliant as Two Face he put real fun and life into the character!

  • Ooookay...now I get it. You like the more fun almost comedic Batman. it won't be long before nolan is finished with the franchise and some hack is dragged in to grind out a few bad Batman with that quirkiness that the sixties tv show did to the otherwise originally dark character from the books. Don't worry won't be long before the return of cloonys nipples sculptured into the suit and the Batman credit card...you'll be happy soon.

  • @DoranArtMedia Well they were a mix of serious and camp and you can't compare them to the 60's series that is way off the mark.

Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman as well there were all the elements there i just found the last two films lifeless basically. The scarecrow for instance there was just no performance or mystery element i found those weak films overall. I did not enjoy Terminator 4 either. I stopped going to the cinema 10 years ago anyway.

  • That is a valid point, it could come across as lifeless, dark, even pretentious. It's a testament to the variety of filmmakers out there that one character can satisfy two different film fans. Try to get back out to the cinema...its last days are close.

  • @DoranArtMedia The cinema has plenty of life yet for some time but for me i am long finished with it i am afraid. It is for a newer generation now i think. I cannot get excited about films anymore to bother wasting the time or money going.

  • good job looks really good!!

  • I literally see nothing offensive about this. If anything, it's very moving. Calling this mean and offensive is like saying anyone who goes out on Halloween night dressed up as Marilyn Monroe or Elvis Presley is being really mean. People need to chill, come back down to earth, take the sticks out of their asses and lighten up. We all agree he will be missed.

  • It really was very tasteful on the night I displayed it. I'm very proud of the piece but the video doesn't really do it any justice as it was filmed the morning after. On the night it was a dark room separate from the main party..we didn't mention it we just let people find it. I realised how much respect people had for heath while watching them stand quietly over the piece. It was almost like they were getting a chance to say goodbye. It's the most effective piece I've ever done.

  • wow dude nice detail , very creepy if i saw that live

  • i understand its a tribute but thats messed up

  • how is that messed up when its the character of the joker? fucking retard...

  • Thats not right guys....

  • Mann thats so sad :( I hope nobody ever tries to play the Joker ever again. I would be so pissed. Btw, you did an excllent job. I thought he was going to pop up. I miss heath ledgerrr.

    r.i.p heath

    r.i.p joker.

  • I think I would have passed out if I saw that in person.

  • How did u make that?! Was it some1 attcually lying in it?

  • this was made with the oldest make up effect trick in the book, an ancient method by today's standards. took some plaster bandage's cvered my face with it, leaving space uncovered arond mouth so i could breath of course. let it dry, took it off, poured in some slip casting laytex from burman industries, let that dry, pulled out the rubber face, painted it and TA DAAA! it's there.. now go make one. i want to see how you do.

  • I can't. Schools in the way! =-( i tryed to make a fur suit but it never worked.

  • okay dokey. next year then.

  • Very creative! And sad. :( I was half expecting joker to pop up out of the casket and scare the crap out of me.

  • ITS TILL SAD THAT HES GONE

  • Outdoor Channel applauds DoranArt's Joker!

  • this video is kinda creepy... no offense

  • it is, it definatly has a creepiness to it in keeping with the whole Joker character i guess,

  • it's actually a laytex cast of my face with wax in areas to re-shape the face. painted and proped on top of the plaster mould...so...its a mak

  • wow i dont kno how u made that but 5 stars for u

  • no it's not mean, at least it's not meant to come accross as mean. it's a tribute. obviusly its based on Heath's Joker that was stated in the write up. i guess if you don't get it you just don't get it. you should have seen people standing around that exhibit during the Halloween party it was so quiet, people were touching the face one girl kissed the cheek and said " it's so sad" people got it and they were touched by it.

  • that is crazy real

  • Thats really good!
