This is an excellent video guys. I'm taking my wife to Anfield next month for the first time for the Wigan game. I will get her to watch this before we go as I think it sums it all up really well.
Hello guys, keep up the good work. I am from Bangladesh and for me to come to Anfield for a day would be like going to the Mecca. I'd probably break down if I manage to watch a match at The Kop. Liverpool is more than a club. With love and respect. You'll Never Walk Alone.
Antoinne Zammit is a fucking loser who has no life and just sits on his ass tweeting all day, and copying news reports after ESPN and Sky have already released the news. This guy would tweet play by play for Gerrards kids game. Get a life mate.
Born in Yorkshire, lived in California, USA for many years. A Die Hard LFC Supporter and anyone that knows me knows this. Been to Anfield twice now, glad to be back living in York where I can watch the matches on telly at a normal hour instead of on my laptop at 4am keeping my girlfriend up with my shouting. lol. I like the channel, keep up the good work lads and I hope to run into you on the KOP .
I'm not born in Liverpool, wasn't bought up my someone from Liverpool but I'm a die hard Liverpool from London. Recently I went to the Reserve match against Arsenal at Underhill (Barnet FC's stadium). We lost 2-1 thanks to a last minute goal. In was only one singing Liverpool songs, after the match my said I was a die hard fan. You don't need to be from Liverpool to be 100% committed!
@ScouseNotEnglish I see what you mean mate. Each time I go to Anfield I sing my heart out and end up losing my voice! I've got family from Liverpool so I get what you mean about the local bit. Anyway all out for a win tonight! YNWA
@MrGeorge138 Fuck off you day tripper, Your the type of parasite i'm referring to, Settling for a mediocre atmosphere, D'yer dring a jvc with yer to film it all on you weapon?
@ScouseNotEnglish87 Nah man sorry lol Youre on your own here nobody agrees with you. I dont see what Im doing wrong spending a fair bit of money to see and support the team I love if you have a problem with that then your not a proper fan in my eyes and many many other LFC supporters. thousands of Irish make the trips over to the matches. Being from Lpool doesnt make you any more of a supporter
@MrGeorge138 "Nobody agrees with you" that sort of somes up my whole argument really lad, Everyone that watches this seems to be a fucking wool, or from China, so of course there not going to agree with me you plant pot because they think they pay the most there the biggest fan, Fuck off, But where & who i go bevvyin with after the match are the same as me, Thousands of Scousers are lad, We have seen the greatest Terrace in history destroyed.
@ScouseNotEnglish87 I dont sit like a fuckin brick when i go to anfield. The atmosphere gradualy started to go down after the old Kop was knocked and we stopped winning as much titles. Listen man you have your own opinion, I support Liverpool always have and always will and if you dont like you can fuck right off. Any time i have been to Liverpool ive never had any trouble or a bad word said to me from scousers infact they were quite the opposite, good craic. PS better fuckin win tomorow, gluck
@MrGeorge138 Well if you read one of me previous comments i said i've got no problem with the Irish fans because 1) I've got Irish family and 2) you's like a good sing song anyway so i get on with the Irish the come over, And that's my whole point lad, Why should the atmos decrease just because we've stopped winning the League, That's to do with the glory hunters, The Kop exists as a source of pride nothing else, It should be used for this and nothing else, Help steer the team to victory!
@ScouseNotEnglish87 I dont sit like a fuckin brick when i go to anfield. The atmosphere gradualy started to go down after the old Kop was knocked and we stopped winning as much titles. Part 2... @ScouseNotEnglish Why brag about your season ticket?! That is the benefits of being a local so keep that in mind! What if you cam from abroad and you got this kind of response from a self-centred fan who supports and shares the same love for the same team... How would you react?! Think about that before dissing fellow LFC fans who aren't from the area. YNWA
@abclfc321 Anfield deserves better then half arsed day trippers that come here & sit in complete silence & film, It should be rocking, It should make teams shrink with fear, That's what it used to do, How am i going over the top? Are you saying Anfield should become a tourist attraction & be virtually silent like Old Trafford just so you "fans" can get a taste of the Anfield occasion? Sorry lad i'll fight to reclaim it's famous atmosphere till the day i die, Shame more reds aren't like me
@ScouseNotEnglish87 you are going over the top, people from across the world spend so much money on the club and all you do is dis them because they aren't local... That is sad mate! Without the worldwide support LFC would not be where they are now! Look at the owners - from USA, look at the players - majority of the 1st eleven are foreigners and a few years ago nearly all of them were Spanish! You've got to wake up to the fact that the locals aren't the only ones allowed to support Liverpool F
Hello guys my name is Neo & im Greek Cypriot but i live in London & trust me when i say that i may not be from Liverpool but im a die hard Liverpool Fan. The only thing i look forward to is when Liverpool FC play & if we lose im not the type that just gets on with the rest of the day or the rest of the week, Im honestly left distraught. Im a Liverpool fan through & through wether we win, lose or draw. My point in all this is.. you dont have to be from Liverpool to be a true LFC fan !
@ScouseNotEnglish87 Mate anyone can support LFC! I'm English, my grandmother came from Liverpool an I live in Switzerland. It doesn't matter where you are from, I understand what you about the silence but last time I went I was in the Kop and a local sat and said cock all she didn't even sing! You'll be surprised at how many 'foreigners' sing! Each time I go I sing my heart out and it costs me a lot of money as well, think about that! YNWA ;)
@abclfc321@ZahraLovesVFC Listen, In the 70s & 80s Anfield was a bastion of support, A bastion of support that was filled with local passion, Local banter & Local culture, Now it's a fucking tourist attraction & most home games in the League are like a fucking morgue, Completely silent, The unique Anfield atmosphere has been completely destroyed by glory hunters who haven't got a clue about our Kopite culture, And i won't be suprised at all lad am a season ticket holder in block105 in The Kop
Great video guys, I got to travel to Anfield in 09 for a match and did the tour it was unreal. I have had the same conversation about being a foreign supporter. I love Liverpool and wish I could go to every match, but most of us aren't that lucky. I love LFC and am glad to hear the respect you all have for us foreign fans. Cheers, YNWA all the way from Alabama USA.
I'm a Welshman who lives in Australia, I have a mate who's a die hard Blue and he gives me stick all the time like "all your fans are foreign blah, blah, blah!"
I just block it all out. You lads are spot on, supporting the club is all that matters. I have been fortunate to watch the lads beat Man U in the Worthington Cup and Charity Shield, I have an online membership and buy every kit every season, I stay up till 3am to watch Liverpool play.. No one can ever question my love for the club.
Im a foreign Liverpool fan from Cyprus (Liverpool FC is the only football club I support) and Im sure when im blessed to be able to go to anfield for a tour or a game I will cry my eyes out. People need to understand that we (foreign fans) love the club just as much as people from Liverpool. Ive been a fan for 20 years now and the memories and emotions that Ive had supporting this great club are priceless and I wouldnt trade them for the world. YNWA JFT96!
@Nick84cy : Yes I agree with you, I am from Austria. I was allowed to see 5 Liverpool games until yet. I spend always a lot of money to see our Reds but I love to spend my money on this way. YNWA
i took my mate from down south a few weeks ago on the anfield tour, and at the end of the tour on the kop they asked have you got any questions, thought i would finish the tour with a bang and asked if i could sing steve bruce youve a got a big fat head, some spanish birds was on the tour and must have thought i was off my barnett
I live in South Wales and got to go to Anfield in December for the first time. I was in the main stand and when the whole crowd (bar the away fans) sang Never Walk Alone it was incredible, all the times i've seen it on the TV couldn't prepare me for it......shame the game was against Wolves and we all know how that turned out.
I did the tour and everything the next day, and finally touched the This is Anfield sign and it was all a dream come true that i've waited for since I was a nipper.
It doesn't matter where your from, The best supporters are the ones who have to travel hundreds of miles to watch there team play and them sing songs for 90 minutes.
But of course you will find a few supporters who could live 10 minutes away from anfield and aren't bother about making any noise
@emaxwell458 I'll tell yer why lad it's because of the people that come here and sit in complete silence & just film the fuckin match on there fancy phones, It dilutes the atmosphere and causes yet more jibes by shitty away followings that sing songs like "wheres your famous atmosphere" and there right, Our once magnificent atmosphere has been destroyed by people who aren't from liverpool, It's that simple & that's why RTK exists.
@emaxwell458 Well i like the Irish anyway got Irish family & yes the Irish i've met at the matches do seem to sing, Yas like a good sing song anyway you's lot so no problem there, I'm on about the ones that sit there in complete silence filming they don't deserve a match ticket.
@ScouseNotEnglish87 Is a wonderful experience why wouldn't we want to record it? I highly doubt the Liverpool residents pay for all of Liverpool Fc wages/salarys etc. If it wasn't for the fans around the world and Liverpool the club wouldn't be anything to be honest. And you don't have to be from Liverpool to be a true fan. As long as you love it in the good and bad times in my book you are a true Lvierpool fan.
@CTorres17kay Are you one of them fucking yanks that thinks football is just a "franchise" Anfield should be a bastion of support not a fucking tourist attraction, The television cameras should be filming us, Not our own "fans" filming us Scousers singing.
@prateek523 Your the type of moron i'm talking about you fucking balloon, Ban all "fans" from the match who think it's funny to say calm down to locals, Yer gonna throw a curly wig on while your here aswell? Bounce round breck road in a jarg Sergio Tachini tracky? do one lad.
Foreigners & Wooleybacks have DESTROYED the atmosphere of the Spion Kop, I've said this before, We used to have the best atmosphere in the world, It used to make teams shrink in fear, Now it means fuck all !!
completely agree with the sentiments lads. my mum my dad and my two brothers are scousers by birth but I was born in Malta should that mean I cant support the greatest team in the world. Keep up the great work .
