I'm not defending these coffins, but they are speaking of primarily WW I and WW II vets who are dying of old age, not deaths occurring in current combat zones. There are tens of thousands of vets that are in their 80s or 90s. If in a particular state an average of four vets pass away each day, that's almost 1,500 a year, and over 7,000 in five years. I'm not saying I believe the story, but it's not that far-fetched regarding the numbers.

If we build homes out of concrete we just might stay alive a little longer these concrete homes require less energy to construct will last K years and can easily be made more energy efficient so we will have a lower energy bill so we could again afford the things that promote a better life.

Well if you want actual numbers look it up....23 000 000 + vet. , 39%+ are over the age of 65 ,2 200 000+ W.W.2 vet. ,and an est. 900 die every day.....don't forget that family members of these vet. can be burried with them....that = to alot of graves needed and fast.they realized this 5+ years ago and now are getting things going. How is this for WW II vets? Every WW II/Vietnam vet I know has been buried in a normal cemetery. Furthermore, whats with the 2 vets and their spouses? Are they seriously going to be shoving married pairs into a box with a pair of strangers for the rest of their days? Lastly, why are they burying them now? Something does not smell right.

I'm not defending these coffins, but they are speaking of primarily WW I and WW II vets who are dying of old age, not deaths occurring in current combat zones. There are tens of thousands of vets that are in their 80s or 90s. If in a particular state an average of four vets pass away each day, that's almost 1,500 a year, and over 7,000 in five years. I'm not saying I believe the story, but it's not that far-fetched regarding the numbers.
