Norm only became a Senator because of Paul Wellstone dying in a plane crash in 2002 like a week before election day. and Walter Mondale came in to the picture too late. I bet he just prayed for something like that to happen to Paul Wellstone. The bastard. If Paul Wellstone were still alive he would still be Minnesota's Senator today and this stupid election contest wouldn't even be going on.

Hmm. You know, Coleman has the *right* to do all this noise, but does that mean he has to *choose* to do so? I would think that any reasonable person would take a look at the graph of the vote tally and see a definite downward trend, then cash it in. What does he hope to gain? Surely not the second Minnesota Senate seat.
