i did the turret part and took out air restrictors and those things

This mod has a high chance of making the barrel get stuck when advancing and makes slapping the barrel shut pretty much impossible without using your other hand. The barrel has to rotate, which means it needs to keep a slight spacing from the plunger in order to move smoothly. I think this mod disturbs that smooth motion.

Actually I specifically did this mod so that the turret would still rotate smoothly. I see were you are coming from, but the trick is to find the prefect balance between a tight enough air seal and one that is too tight which would disturb the rotation of the turret as you said. To do this, I always make sure the spring I add has the correct tension and size.

@SuperDetectiveSpy You said to use an air restrictor spring, which I did. I tried it with both the Maverick and the Alpha Trooper springs. I still have the Maverick one in there, but the rubber band was really restricting the rotation. I kept compromising on the width of the rubber band until eventually I had clipped it down to nothing. I'm unsure if the spring I have in the barrel piece is providing much of a change, but I can at least say that it hasn't hindered any functions yet.

Well maybe you should use a thinner rubber band, I did this mod exactly as shown in the video and it work prefectly. Sometimes it's just trial and error.
