Yh i agree that the olympics is all about the golds. Its not like Gold is a A and Silver is a B. Gold is gold and silver is just a silver medal. Phelps, not only has the drive, training and concentration to win, but he has a natural God gifted, or natural chance of having the right body for the job. His feet are like flippers, more fish like you are the better you are at swimming, seeing as fish's are the best swimmers.

Haha wow, way to splash? What does it mean to be a "fan" anyway? How do you distinguish the "fan" from the "non-fan?" What this Phelps man did is break an old record by swimming fast. I think it's impressive, but I would'nt consider myself a fan. Do I have to watch endless commercials, buy Phelps promotional product, go on his website to be a fan? It's all about how much money can the people on top make on the millions of assuming "fans." It's worse in football, but think about it next time.

Yh i agree that the olympics is all about the golds. Its not like Gold is a A and Silver is a B. Gold is gold and silver is just a silver medal. Phelps, not only has the drive, training and concentration to win, but he has a natural God gifted, or natural chance of having the right body for the job. His feet are like flippers, more fish like you are the better you are at swimming, seeing as fish's are the best swimmers.

michael phelps isn't the greatest olympian. he was just considered that only because swimming has so many categories. i'm not sure how many there are but it's more or less 20+. compared to other sports which has only 2-3. it's quite unfair to other great athletes i have to say.

The USA has more silver, and bronze medals than anyone else. That means when you come silver, you are first of the losers, and when you come bronze, you are second of the losers. So, as you can see, the medals table shows us that the USA has more losers than any other country. While CHINA:) has 51 gold medals, and like i said before, it's all about GOLD GOLD GOLD. New races include:
Freestyle: 1m, 2m, 3m,.........10000000m
Butterfly: 1m, 2m, 3m,.........10000000m
Backstroke:1m, 2m, 3m,.........10000000m
Team freestyle, butterfly, backstroke each from 1m to 1000000m.
These new races will be in 2012 Olympic.
