I was there... ED WAS PISSED!!!! He threw a monitor across the stage at the Techs. I also went to the Philly show. That show CRUSHED this performance. They pulled it off, but you could tell that the sound suffered big time during this show. He kept having to switch back to his black peavey wolfgang guitar w #4 painted on it. It was the only guitar that was working properly.
Ed isn't being unreasonable at all. I've heard it in person. His tech, if you can him that, is FUCKING him royally. He's handed him guitars that are simply not tuned properly, and his effects chain has fucked his signal up big time. I heard him step on a pedal and it took all the balls out his sound. That's a fuck up that should have been fixed after the first show. This guy should be dragged behind the tour bus.
FYI: If you use a video converter to create mpeg1 files(not sure what file type is native to your camera, but convert them anyway using the standard settings), they should upload cleanly to youtube. I do it all the time and have never had sync issues upping here.
I love how people are blaming the techs....funny how this stuff never happened prior to 2004...in all the other tours....funny how this stuff rarely happens to other guitarists.....and he's really showing maturity in dragging the thing off the stage....
I seize to believe that Ed would hire such incompetent people to be his techs.....the guy is an unreasonable perfectionist....let him be his own tech then....

I think the sync problem lies somewhere within youtube as the original videos aren't like this.
