Don't be discourage by ppl who claim that "waiting till marriage" isn't realistic. It is not only realistic; it is just the smart thing to do & you don't have to be "religious" to act smart sexually.

Besides hell, fear of being punished or labeled a slut, we know why ppl wait till marriage. Commitment! Babies! Even if you use birth control, sex mentally does something, particularly to women, that prepares them for what results in their sexual union. If you're not ready to be pregnant, WAIT.

I really respect your relationship and how you both made the decision to wait. I'm sure that night was very special for you both. There's not very many people out there with morals or that stay true to their beliefs, so it sends a mixed message. But I think your relationship is a good example of finding somebody you truly love and making a REAL commitment with them.

wow, its really hard for me to believe some of these comments!! I think u are INCREDIBLY strong and I admire u for this vlog. I am a Christian, not married, although engaged, and am having pre-marital sex, but with that said everyones story is different, and although I am a strong believer in Christ, like others "say" on here, its not mine or ANYONE elses place to judge u. U are such an inspiration to people and I LOVE that verse! What was that other1 u were talking about?! Keep strong!

1st - Family Relationship (Important)

2nd - Touch is a beginning to bring you to sex (opposite gender)

I had sex before marriage [with 2 different people] and at 22 I had sex with a male virgin, and we got married the following months. We've been happy our entire relationship. I'm not ashamed of my life and have no reason to be. However, of course for health reasons in this day & age it's better to wait to have sex. He doesn't have a religious faith, but that isn't a necessity to me because if one's moral compass is only based on the teachings of his/her religion then that's scary.

I Agree that sex before marriage is right. but in a way i think its O:k to have sex before marriage if you love the man or woman will all your heart , mind and soul. truly i think that if people are going to have sex for "FUN" then i think that is wrong and God would'nt accept it as well. You are entitled to your opinion as everyone is. I am glad you are the sort of person who does not believe in pushing your beliefs onto others.

As for myself I think that sex is ok out of marriage as long as both are consenting adults. As far as Im concerned it's no one else's business, not other people, not the government and certainly not God's.

Good for you!! Its especially hard in today's society to stick with your beliefs. Its worth it to find someone who shares your religious views or at the very least respects them. I'm a Christian and a virgin. I'm starting to give up idea of waiting till marriage because most people my age wouldn't marry a person until they had sex.

@p1gta1p Frankly and honestly, as someone who has studied the statistics, I know better than to risk my future marriage by marrying a woman who is not a virgin. In fact, I'm even saving myself, just so I don't seem unfair.
