The lies of this propaganda movie are so big that they are funny! The atmosphere is so Hollywoodian that I always expect to see Humphrey Bogart appears. My favorite lie is the one of the layers between the bodies to assist decomposition. 1. The nazis wanted to kill all their prisoners that the camp that offered the most terrible scenes at the end of the war, Bergen Belsen, wsa not even equiped with crematories. What kind of "killing factory" wouldn't have any facilities to eliminate the dead bodies? ;-)
The crematories were taxed beyond their capacity because of the massive number of deaths at warend caused by typhus epidemics and undeliberate starvation because of the Allied bombings of all german communications.

@Merlin5by5 To summarize, gas vans were supposed to be diesel engines, but diesel fumes are ne of the worst method to kill somebody. Diesel fumes would take hours and hours before killing somebody. It would have been the most unefficient method of mass murder. Gasoline engines would have been a bit better. The best engines would have been wood gas vans (very common in Europe at that time), which generate very high CO levels, but no alleged 'witness' has never mentionned those very typical vans.

Dr Barton was a soldier. He participated at the liberation of the camp of Bergen Belsen and then took care of the prisoners. Those people didn't die of starvation. You absolutely have to make researches about the symptoms of typhus.

The visual result of the policy of some countries that had bombed most communications and other facilities of a country with many prisoners to take care of. What else could have happened to a country that was not able to conveniently deliver food and medicine supplies to its camps anymore? 1. The nazis wanted to kill all their prisoners that the camp that offered the most terrible scenes at the end of the war, Bergen Belsen, wsa not even equiped with crematories. What kind of "killing factory" wouldn't have any facilities to eliminate the dead bodies? ;-)
The crematories were taxed beyond their capacity because of the massive number of deaths at warend caused by typhus epidemics and undeliberate starvation because of the Allied bombings of all german communications.

@Merlin5by5 To summarize, gas vans were supposed to be diesel engines, but diesel fumes are ne of the worst method to kill somebody. Diesel fumes would take hours and hours before killing somebody. It would have been the most unefficient method of mass murder. Gasoline engines would have been a bit better. The best engines would have been wood gas vans (very common in Europe at that time), which generate very high CO levels, but no alleged 'witness' has never mentionned those very typical vans.

You can also look for pics of wood gas vehicles of WW2 and ask yourself why the nazis have been reported using those very lethal engines instead of the innocuous diesel engines.

Dr Barton was a soldier. He participated at the liberation of the camp of Bergen Belsen and then took care of the prisoners. Those people didn't die of starvation. You absolutely have to make researches about the symptoms of typhus.

General Patton mentioned in his autobiography that Buchenwald had "a number of allegedly eminent physicians" who were performing "some very abominable experiments on their fellow inmates." The only medical experiment that Patton sited was one in which patients were "inoculated with anti-typhus vaccine and then inoculated with the typhus bug." Unuseful cruelty?
