  • Hunni That is fantastic! Amazing how our features pop with weight-loss. Your face was cute before but beautiful after!

I luv your choice of music for this vid ~ It really touched me.

The baby must be here by now (more than a year ago) so how is the tummy doing after the pregnancy & a year to work on it?

  • Cool !!! the music makes me sad, and so does your eyes.

  • Wow! You must be so proud of yourself! You look AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • i st wanna say that i ammire you so much.you're great

  • looking real amazing...i dont think i can get surgery im 2 scared

  • I'm preparing for the roux en y later this year. Your video shows me what I have before me. Can I ask your age at the time of your bypass?

  • Your video inspires me.

  • You look AMAZING!!!

  • did you have a gastric bypass? if so, worst thing to do, weight loss is too quick for your body to adjust, anyone whos thinking of it, DONT. eat healthy and exercise=firm body, you need to do it slowly, with weights, walking or running each day and eat well, gastric bands are the worst things for causing loose skin

  • @cokerainbows You're to late (though she does reveal that she did in the vid) It's all an individual thing, I came through fine as many have and some do not.

  • That is totally awesome !! !I am going for my tummy tuck and breast lift in July !! I Lost 180 lbs in aprox 1 year and 6 months with out gastric bypass..... I cant wait!

  • That is totally awesome !! !I am going for my tummy tuck and breast lift in july !! ILost 180 lbs in aprox 1 year and 6 months with out gastic bypass..... I cant wait!

  • love the song!

  • Excellent job!!! Nice result!! Dear April, with your video u encourage others with the same problem as yours to take the decision and proceed to theses sort of body contour surgeries. Bravo!!!

  • Very happy for you. Inspiring! :-)

  • you were beautiful then and beautiful now :)

  • Hey girl nice work:)

  • Damn, this video makes me depressed.. what people go through to look like the norm. Although I'm happy for you if you are! : )

  • Damn.. this vide

  • Hey I was wondering if you had surgery done on your face or did you lose the face fat on your own because I am looking for some advice?

  • did the song who is it.. ?

  • @mecca115able running up that hill- placebo

  • how much was all of that surgery?

  • omg that had got to hurt i feel so sorry for u i wish u all the best

  • You are one tough lady. Congrats on your beauty and honesty.

  • You look great! congrats!

  • I have a tremendous respect for you, as you had to endure those painful surgeries to remove the excess skin. But even more positive is that you showed everyone here what it *really* takes & just how much pain is involved. I think a lot of people think that it's no big deal to have those surgeries, but when you showed us how much scarring you had post op & let us see the bag and contraption you temporarily had, you are letting people know that it's not magic & it's not easy..in the least.

  • Wow, amazing! ,Congratulations, I am so impressed, you are one dedicated and brave woman....am lost for words!

  • Whoa you are GORGEOUS!! So proud of you :D

  • Oh, Honey!! I watched most of this video with tears streaming down my face. How much pain you must have endured! How amazingly brave you were! Thank God that is all over!!! And thank you, thank you, thank you for assuring us at the end that it was all worth it! I was on empathy overload, and I really needed to hear that!!

    Blessings! :0) Juvie

  • Congratulations! I You are so pretty!

  • About how much was the total cost of your surgeries? I'm at about the same weight as you were and I'll probably need to get it done.....

  • you are so brave to post your painful journey on youtube.

    i commend you!

    :)

  • i enjoyed wayching this, thankyou for uploading it.all the best,

  • Such an inspiration seriously. This is amazing!

  • WOW! What a journey!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bless you!

  • i think your great. Well done...x

  • I really need to ask you somthing! did you go back and have more work done on your tummy to remove the lumpy bits at the sides? or did that just go with time? your tummy in these photos look sooooooo flat. Congrats on the baby.

    Anna

  • @cameronanna2004 No I did not go back in .. I just did a lot of ab work and it went down a bit. You could still see a bit of fat where the sides were but it was much better with more work. And thank you .. this baby girl has messed all that up!! lol But she will be worth it! Due in Sept! :D

  • Awesome video. I myself have lost 169 pounds so far (7.25 months), and I am working hard to lose the rest. I am new to your channel, and your videos are truly inspiring. Take care...Yehuda

  • I'm trying to map out the surgery plan, have a mess of questions for you? Email me?

  • Good show! God bless you, honey! Very few people know what it takes to get back something you have given away. But you have to keep on and not stop, that's the only way to get to the end of the journey. Wishing you the best!

  • @designsbypatricia Thank you.. its been a great journey .. well worth the tears, money and pain :)

  • That must have been so painful...I'm so sorry you had to go through that! Thank you for sharing for those that have to go through the same! How much did the upper and lower cost and what was the recovery time?

  • @sjtherage It was painful but well worth it! The upper body cost about 8k and the lower cost about 9.5k I did them at different times. I also was self pay for my gastric bypass which was 25k so all together... 42.5 thousand! wow.. but again. worth it

  • Goddamn.

I battle with my weight along with hashimoto's hypothyroidism and PCOS and the loose skin just freaks me out. I almost had to look away seeing all those stitches. As much as I hate being fat thinking of being thin and looking like I deflated scares the ever living shit out of me.

On another note... Placebo is awesome.

  • @TheDisturbedArtist believe me... what I am working with now is more than 100 times better than being 350 lbs and hating life. I can do anything right now.. I don't care what anyone thinks about the scars.. no one even notices unles I point them out.. life is better on this other side..

  • I have to thank you for your videos, you have got me through, i am now 10 months post op .. down 125 pounds...and it feels great,, " nothing taste as great as thin feels" may god bless and keep you my friend, and Thank You!

  • @blueroan72 wow that is awsome! 125 lbs after 10 months wow! I did not do that good! :P My weight came off slow it seemed. Keep me posted!

  • wow your an amazing person to go through all that, you must have such strength. Truly impressive vision, drive commitment and determination. Thanks you so much for the inspiration.

  • @TheHiddent Thank you.. I have a great support team, my family! After being fat my whole life I just did not want anything more than to be healthy and loving life. I am here now!

  • INcredible :D 1 in a million you go girl XD!!!

  • u are sooooo inspiring !!!!!

  • @candykelly49 Thank you

  • i had gastric bypass march of 09 and i was 461 and im down 173. i saw your video and i cried you are my hero you give me such hope thank you . PS. love the music too :)

  • @memeoleary Wow 173 down! Thats great! It feels great to be loosing doesnt it! It only gets better. Keep up the work and never give up.. the journey is sooo worth it!

  • amazing. and that is your song.

  • @ProAnaStarvingWorks Love that song! :P

  • I am amazed--you are so powerful and strong--thank you for your bravery in making this video

  • this is a remake of it, the one with the girl singing is better. but good job with this, i'll be getting that surgery soon.

  • @JohnThePheonix You mean Kate Bush. Yeah I personally like Placebos cover better than Kates :P But thats just me.

  • right right kate bush... lol they're both good.

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are **amazing!!** all you have been through!!!..i really wish you the best for the rest of your life, you deserve it...and you look amazing!!

  • As someone who also lost 211 with a bit of loose skin (see my video for how much), I can really relate. I personally haven't been cut yet, but I can understand the desire to rid yourself of that loose skine. Nice video...

  • @bowulf For me.. since I was running.... it was really difficult to have that stomach skin. I am so happy I could get it removed and be able to run better and feel better.. fit in clothes better. Its all been worth it

  • Beautiful!

  • just found you through another WLS person, OMG, you are amazing...i don't think i could go through it..you look amazing also, but i just don't think i could go through skin surgery...

oh, i "thumbed down" comment about you should have done it "naturaly"(spelled wrong) what an uneducated thing to say...

the skin would have been the same, i know because i had tons of skin when i lost 100 lbs "naturaly" before...

    YOU ROCK!!!!

  • @saphre1964 Thank you:) and yes.. people who say that really have no idea. I have lost 150 lbs before on my own and had the same issue. My doctor told me no matter how I lost it my skin wouldnt have gone back.

  • @saphre1964 Thanks and yes... I get that a lot from people who just do not understand. I had lost 120 lbs before.. in fact more than once on my own and let me tell you... FLABBY LOOSE SKIN was left. When you are that big.. there is just no getting around being left with it. Although I have seen some people who have great skin which seems to recover. Mine however.. did not. I dont really remember how painful it was now.. so I would say its worth it! :P

  • WOW- you have opened my eyes- I was planning to have all that post rny surgery too- but now I am going to think seriously about again- also I am about to watch all your videos from the start! glad to find you!

    rny post op 6 weeks

  • Thank you for sharing! You are an amazing girl... so brave... I don't know if I have it in me to do ps...had a consultation but just don't know... Thanks again..you are an inspiration to me and many!!! Shannon

  • @JustSlcinoz really everyone is different. I did not focus on the pain in front of me but the reward of having it done years later. I can now tell you that I love that I had it done and would do it again in a heart beat!

  • Congratulations! Thank you for posting, I'm down 160 lbs. with 50 left to go, and then under the knife, It's good to see what I'm in for, stay strong sister, you are truly an inspiration!

  • @irishstrawberry13 wow thats great! It will be well worth the pain. I mean after all the hard work of loosing the weight no one wants to feel like they are still trapped. Getting ridd of the skin helps to finally say goodby to the old fat you. Let me know how it goes!! I know I am late in responding!

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SONG!!

  • @felicha27 Placebo - running up that hill

  • that was nasty but great transformation....! tho i would advice u to do it naturaly...well the point is u luk awesome!!!

  • @waynerooneyfan4ever Can I just tell you how many times I HAVE done it "naturaly"? lol I lost 120 lbs one year ... gained 150 back.. 130 lbs another year gained it back in 6 months plus more.. my whole life I have gained and lost. This was not the easy way out.. this was a solution so that I could live.

  • Great video. Wow what great way to see what the future could hold for me... it looks like Hell.. that you went through but it seems to have paid off.

  • I love this video. You are amazing.

  • you are so courageous. thanks for sharing your story and being so honest. i love your closing quote at the end. Keep stepping!!! Much love to you!!!!

  • I have watched and watched this video so many times.... you are an absolute insperation and are 100% living the dream.... I have reached goal after my bypass and just starting the next part of the process... PLASTICS HERE I COME!!!

  • the piece of candy i was munching on whilst watching this video definitely lost its taste! what a motivational video. as there hope that the scars will fade further?

  • you look totally different, way to go....

  • I'm glad you're making videos again. Your transformation is amazing.

  • Only one word to say..............AWESOME!

  • Wow! That looks painful! You've inspired me Ma'am.

  • It was painful! One of the tubes that was in me was pulled out and my husband had to push it back inside me which almost made him pass out lol I remember so much about it.. but it was all worth it! I am glad I could inspire you through my PAIN! :P

  • i should have written more and worded that better. lol My bad. I'm inspired by how brave you were to go through with all of that as well as your total transformation.

I, like your husband, would probably have passed out too having to deal with a tube going in and outside of someones body. My Grandfather has stage four cancer and just looking at his feeding tube makes me cry, and feel queasy.

I must say, you look BEAUTIFUL. :D

  • @hmmonhere Thank you .. it was a little funny seeing how sick he got. lol But all of this has been well worth it :)

  • wow thanx for sharing that video

  • Your beautiful.

  • wow! amazing transformation! you look GREAT!

  • You are very brave but I think the best word is determinate. Once you know what you want and where you wanna be, you will :)

Congrats on the life changing journey.

  • Wow you look great! I realize that most people would reather have scars than fat. Scars we can always cover up, fat we can't. lol You look truly amazing!!! Also, I am so sorry about your loss of your sister. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

  • Yeah I remember the doctor saying.. "Now are you sure you can live with these scars..." I was like ummm over this fat thats hanging?? UMM YES! lol Its much better..

Thank you for the prayers.. I can always use them. Broke down again about my sister today .. it always hits me in times I dont see it coming...

  • Wow, that was pretty graphic!! lol The plastic surgery looked SO very painful. I know I absolutely would have my Gastric Bypass again (if I had to go back in time!)... but I am still unsure about plastic surgery to complete my transformation. You look amazing and it seems that you healed well. Thanks for being such an inspiration.

  • Yeah .. graphic is right lol I thought I wouldnt show as much but so many people wanted to see and I think its important for those who are thinking about getting it done to know the process.. its hard but WELL worth it :)

  • Favorite! What an inspiration you are!!!

  • WOW, is all I can say!!!

You did it!!! I hope that you feel this way on the inside what a new way of life.. so inspiring, love your eyes they are sooooo shiny and bright!!!!

  • OMG girl your eyes shine and I know that inside you are just a beautiful. You loved your self enough ...you are worth it. I pray women would be inspired to put the food down ....walk away and say yes I am worth it and I love my self enough to live a life that is full of hope joy and love. God bless you friend . I am glad you made this video It blessed me.

  • I love this video you have done so great!!! You have alot to be proud of.

  • All I can say is WOW!!! Total Transformation is correct. What a journey u went through. It took so much but I know it was worth it at the end. Im so very happy for u. Your very beautiful

  • You look FANTABULOUS!!!! What a transformation!

  • lol love that word :P Thank you

  • I do to. lol.

  • I am so full of emotion right now. I'm still at the starting line. Will I ever get through to start? Such a long marathon ahead for me...

  • I have watched a lot of your videos and I know you can do this. I too felt like I had a marathon to run.. but i can see the finish line now and you will too.. one step at a time.. keep breathing. :)

  • Wow you are such a trooper and look so amazing! You totally did it! You rock!

  • I wish I could put into words how much your story has moved me, inspired me, and touched me-- in places so profound ...where no words exist..only feeling...only wishing...only dreaming... and most definitely... only rejoicing..

    <3 <3 <3

  • Thank you.. it's been an amazing ride.. I am glad I have put these videos together so I can look back. I am just sorry I was too chicken to start making them at the start of all this lol. Thanks for always being so supportive :)

  • this video was very moving for me. we had almost identical starting weights and i am a year post-op trying to figure out what plastics are in my future.

are you happy with your body?

all the plastics in the world won't erase my former self. i will never look like someone naturally thin. so i wonder if i have plastics will i be trading a body i don't like with another body i don't like?

  • Thank you.. I am happy but I am not satisfied yet.. I still feel like I have a bit more to do and change. I love the fact I got the PS done because I wouldnt be as confident.. I do not regret it at all.. worth every penny

  • 1. glad to have you back! we missed you!

    2. You look freaking amazing! and you went through so much!!!! You are such an inspiration girly!

    xoxoxo

  • I am sure there are others.. I am just crazy enough to show in on video.. lol It was painful but I can't really recall that pain anymore which is a beautiful thing. I am glad I have been through it all.. I have learned from it. Thanks for watching :)

  • Yeah it's been a crazy three years.. amazing to think where I started. After my last video I got 5 e-mails asking me to make a video JUST on the trasformation.. I guess what I added at the end of the last video was not good enough... you think I was yappin too much? People just wanna get to the grose stuff and see my pain!? lol
