  • Any chance you could put your backing tracks up for public use?

  • Holy cow you have stepped your game up!

  • @coeball Yes definitely! I have watched many of ijazzmunki's videos, which have always been good, but the later videos show a lot of development! Great playing!

  • Sweet!

  • Thanks for another good upload... makes my day to see 'uploaded by ikazzmunki' on my youtube home page.

    Never disappoints.

  • Good, good, good, very great player, i have subscribed to your video, you could see my video and need your comment. thank you.

  • you play soo good!! keep groovin men!

  • Wow....awesome job. Beautiful instrument.....great jam.

  • that was funking insane ^^

  • great composition and sound, man!day was really unpleasant=)

  • this is really good. its a change of pace from your usual stuff. i think some thumb slapping some of the lower anchor notes in the last minute or so would have also put a little extra tonal flavor in there.

  • Lol where do you get all these crazy basses? ;)

  • Is Fifth string Low B, or High C?

  • @zubberguitar B-G bro

  • Nice playing! Love the solo.

  • great groove brother

  • Inspiring bro! Logic pro or express? Is that your amp i hear or are you playing through your monitors?

  • @mhanley7 hey dude - I use Logic Pro - the drums are Superior drummer plus a Native Instrument/Scarbee Rhodes - and I took a line out from my Genz Benz head so I'm using a little EQ from that on the tone of the bass - I was hearing the sound via my amp but also through my KRK Rokit 6s - so a nice working environment for getting a decent tone! :-)

  • @ijazzmunki Is there any program you might use where you can create the drum beat?

  • @MasterxKenobi I use Superior dummer and EZPlayer pro to edit the MIDI parts - these are the best and most useable drum modules I've tried over the years - I have BFD too and it sound great I just found it really hard to edit and record with - I may try that again soon!

  • @ijazzmunki Awesome. Do you use a drummachine or a keyboard to make the drum beats? Or do you do everything through the program? sorry for all the questions. Was just trying to get an idea where I can make simple drum fills. Not preset but ones I can actually make from scratch in a simple way.

  • i have to say.. what a tone! what makes it sound beautiful? the wood? pickups? what are they?

  • @piccicacca it's an ash body, maple/wenge neck/with ebony board (buckeye top wood on the body too) - and Nordstrand fatstack pickups - with a Demeter pre-amp and D'Addarrio strings all going through my Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 into Logic Pro.... that it!!!

  • Nice jam!

  • lovely bass

  • @bassist357 thanks - funny how some folks 'hate' for all they are worth when they see it on some of my older videos - just cos I film in HD and record in Logic folks now like it! Though you are correct - it's a great instrument :-) - thanks for checking it out
