These guys are out of there prime. They are idiots if they think this is good fusion of dubstep and metal.. Do I have to spell it out you Jonathan Davis Hacks! Stop thinking sub bass will take place of the expression of a djent, guitar... Battling rhythms you fucking morons
why are you always being butthurt? they are nu metal, meaning they can and will experiment with genres, stop thinking that spices on your soup are flies, NOTHING WAS LOST Dubstep was added, and those who think dubstep is for people who have no talent, think of Instrumental music( rock,, jazz, metal etc) And Electronic (dub step, drum and bass, electropop, etc) as two big houses that have a fence between each other, electronic rock and nu metal sit on this fence
Dubstep mainstream lol. Korn was way bigger and mainstream with the albums that "true" korn fans love than with these. Saying that they sell out is just dumb.
@ElectronicHand you make a good point! but that was also back in the days when mp3s were nonexistent though! people actually bought records then! go figure! I miss those days! the more "accessible" the music is the less special it seems...back in 94 when korn released there first major label disc electronic music was huge, if korn did something like this back then it would have hit BIG! old school fans can probably understand that too...jd said next korn disc wont be DS though
i think the main riff of most of theirs new songs still do it, like before, but the drumming sound, the dubstep... its just sound gay.. thats not violent, not expressive, no more metal..
I like it, but it doesn't change the fact that they sold out. It's a money grab aimed at all the brostep fans, but honestly I don't really give a shit about how mind-blowingly futuristic Jonathan Davis thinks this record is.
This is going into my "will torrent when get around to it" pile.
@radicalDeparter I should make it clear, I don't hold anything against Korn for selling out.
I stopped looking forward ot their music after the untitled album, but I still appreciate their earlier works for getting me into music in the first place. Untouchables was one of my first CD's ever.
@radicalDeparter get a life ! must be great knowing everything !like he needs money ? im sure he stopped buying your work to .music is music and hes making it . what have you done today!
@radicalDeparter I don't agree they've sold out, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Korn have always been about experimentation, so for me this is just another direction. I can see why you would think what you do though dude
dubstep is mainstream, the good thing about mainstream is that korn gets on the radio,I hope cause Korn is awesome. And i would like to hear some rock/metal on the invaded lady caca radios.nice album.i like there changes.
@Tigersteele your never not going to be disappointed in FM radio, it's dying. get a satellite radio where you can have channels dedicated to certain types of music, yes you have to pay but on satellite they don't edit songs down to barely 3 minutes and a few seconds and they don't censor lyrics ever (except for kids channels that you don't have to listen to
Don't get why people are calling Korn sellouts for incorporating dubstep influence into this album. Korn are nu-metal, which is about pushing the boundaries that other types of metal are limited to. And hell yes, brilliant track. KoЯn & NOISIΛ ftw!!
you know...the 1st time i heard this i didnr really like the idea of KoRn and Skrillex and Noisia.....but now this cd is spinning constantly in my car
not a huge fan of KoRn but, this album is sick... adding Duptstep sounds with the instrumental sounds of KoRn..! come on, great idea and great album... I listen to this entire album 2 to 4 times a day...
simonxslade...if they did what everyone wanted them to, they would be selling out. They put their twist on everything they do and break all the rules. They are still popular. Jealous much?
@SuperPotDoctor sincerly i like korn ( some older stuff) , and i don't listen very much to this type. but you read my toughts, they did somethin genial here.
@SuperPotDoctor Totally agree with you :) JonathanDavis wanted to try this, so i wouldnt call it selling out, Just try something new, and they made something awesome :D I love korn as much as i did before this album if not more. They are the best! :D
@SuperPotDoctor Selling out is pretty much when you start making albums because you have to and not because you want to, when you start making albums for your label that has shit in it you didn't want to make, that's selling out... Watch interviews with korn and jd (or jdevil) JD LOVES what he is doing now..how the fuck can you say its selling out...I HATED dubstep beforekorn released this album and only listened to it because I liked KoRn and wanted to check it out... It's really amazing&unique
@SuperPotDoctor yeah this isnt my fav korn record BUT it was a great choice to do this brought in a new fan base and it was a success, so props to korn for that!
@simonxslade Ofcourse he does, and he is completley right in his analysis. KoRn does whatever is popular to maximize fans and profit. They are the definition of sell-outs.
Best song on the new album. All in all i think this is best they've done in a long time. Good to see that Evolution album had me thinking they're run of making great music was over.
This is so weird... I would love it if it were another band.. but since it's so far from Korn's original style, it makes me kinda sad. But I like it. It's better than Untitled, I think. And Jon Davis's voice is still amazing xD
Another flop from korn. It has been over eight years! since they made anything worth listening to! I use to idolize this band, now It's just embarrassing to listen to there new stuff, makes me cringe!
Korn's new music is okay. But it just not them. It sounds as if they are trying to be something they simply are not. They should do more drugs and be as bomb as they used to be! :P With that said, I still love Korn.

@TheGreenie21 metal 's dying out. so is dubstep but dubstep is a lot younger than this kind of metal. they 're looking for ways to get this thing further.
@Thatgirly456 i never said either one of them are dying out, i said dubstep is not, nothing about rock cause it speaks for itself that it will never die out... back off. Someone who is dumb as fuck is someone who attacks people from behind their computer on youtube. you are a bitch
neither of them are dying. just refining. there was a big outburst of metal when it was first big, but with the outburst came a lot of crap and commercialization. the crap was weeded out, and while people further the genre at a lower rate, they do so with better quality, while the best of the older works live on. the same is happening to dubstep right now. it happened to disco. it happened to rock. it happened to jazz. it has happened to and will happen to every popular art form.
I don't understand why people can't just enjoy the music and stop debating which era is their best. Korn do something different with every album so why is it still such a shock?? Enjoy it ::)
I love the album and all, but I personally think that korn should get off this dubstep thing. They're better when they're by themselves, in my opinion.
This doesn't even sound like Korn...whatever happened to their old shit? This sounds like they are trying to fit in with that dubstep shit. Come on. A REAL fan wouldn't listen to this shit. They went from Numetal to Nu-Dub. This is garbage. Go home.
I don't see how they aren't original for making this love child with Dubstep. It's transcending boundaries! It's testing the limits of our knowing of Genres that make artists, well, ARTISTS!
-Insert Some Random Shit About The Old KoRn Being Better- OR _Insert some Random Shit About People Being Annoying Because They Are Saying The Old KoRn Is Better- THERE NO NEED TO READ ANYMORE OF THE COMMENTS
stupid fuckin haters, this is one of Korn's best work they released in years!! They been around for 20 years, do u really expect them to be making the same style of music for every album?? grow the fuck up.
@sephiroth2099 Why not? AC/DC has been around since the 70's and almost every song they released after Bon Scott's death is interchangeable. . .yet they still fucking rock!! Same with Metallica. Their worst years were when they ventured too far from what they do best, but redeemed themselves with Death Magnetic. I say don't fix what ain't broke. That being said, I do still dig this song.
@thestarkiller01 yeah but u do realize that Korn is all about Experimenting. AC/DC and Metallica are simply Hard Rock/Metal bands, Korn have never been about that, their older material (first 3 albums) was all about blending Hip-Hop, Metal and Funk together (experimenting) their newer albums was more about blending again different styles of music like Industrial and Alternative style of music...now they are experimenting with Dubstep/Electro music, I really don't understand why people complain.
LIKE THIS COMMENT IF YOU WANT TO SEE MORE BANDS DOING MUSIC LIKE THIS! If you live in the UK and have the hardware and know-how to produce live Dub Step, or play guitar/drums/base and want to start making 'Metal-Step' then e-mail - 'bitsofwood@riseup.net' with a sample of your work. I am a vocalist, lyricist and spoken word poet based in Bristol and I've been looking for musicians to make music like this for a good few years now, but never found the right people.
Hey, TheAngrySwampMan i agree with you, this album not bad ;) but for some people (and for me) just to difficult listen to incredible voice of Jonathan Davis and fucking dubstep what change songs into piece of shit....
Anything that Korn have released, Is amazing nothing else out there like it. They have stayed true to themselves through their whole careers and still going strong. Yes they have had difficult patches losing two very talented musicians;Head & David. And of course its not the same without them but Korn still have three incredible artists who have been there since the start and were the cause of the whole music scene to evolve into something much more than it ever has been.
When bands start putting out two albums a year, I start to question the integrity of the music. But Korn's Path of Totality is good. Really good. And I haven't said that about a Korn album in a long ass time In fact, I'm going to buy the cd when they put it out. Yes, I will actually PAY for music again.
I didn't liked korn this album maded me change my mind... .. .

I don't understand why people can't just enjoy the music and stop debating which era is their best. Korn do something different with every album so why is it still such a shock?? Enjoy it ::)

Korn+dubstep=beyond epic

I love the album and all, but I personally think that korn should get off this dubstep thing. They're better when they're by themselves, in my opinion.

This doesn't even sound like Korn...whatever happened to their old shit? This sounds like they are trying to fit in with that dubstep shit. Come on. A REAL fan wouldn't listen to this shit. They went from Numetal to Nu-Dub. This is garbage. Go home.

Totally not for me. Son, I am disapoint.. I totally agree with a comment I have read here.. they should have created a new band for this,

I don't see how they aren't original for making this love child with Dubstep. It's transcending boundaries! It's testing the limits of our knowing of Genres that make artists, well, ARTISTS!

stupid fuckin haters, this is one of Korn's best work they released in years!! They been around for 20 years, do u really expect them to be making the same style of music for every album?? grow the fuck up.

@sephiroth2099 Growing up is obligatory, maturing is optional.

That being said, I do still dig this song.
thestarkiller01 2 months ago

TRUE KORN FAN FOREVER

When bands start putting out two albums a year, I start to question the integrity of the music. But Korn's Path of Totality is good. Really good. And I haven't said that about a Korn album in a long ass time In fact, I'm going to buy the cd when they put it out. Yes, I will actually PAY for music again.
