Haha wish I had seen this sooner! Bought shoes especially for new years eve and then when I was getting ready I realise I was in PAIN! No time to exchange them :S so I Got my bf and his mates to take turns stretching the front by gripping both sides of the front and pulling out... It worked but they were drunk and pegging them at each-other and it had me anxious bc I had spent way too much money on them! Great tip if it ever happens again -3
@clubpenguin440 I think it will. But I'm not sure. Are they leather shoes? If so, then you have a pretty good chance at stretching them. But if they aren't, like if they are canvas, I don' think this technique will work very well for you.
@Briseidaramirez Suede can be very tricky. Depending upon the leather, you will see different results. Some suede will completely ruin if it get's wet. So be very careful. I would suggest double or even triple bagging the water. Then, once the process is done, zap the shoe with a low heat hair dryer to remove any ice crystals that may popped up. Good Luck!
hi ashley, i've known this process for quite a while. i want to stretch a size 10 shoes and i normally wear a size 11 or 11,5 would it stretch that many? and if i repeat the same process should i fill the water more than quarter of the plastic bag everytime i repeat the process ?
@xXPlasticxSmilesXx Awww, I saw this posting way too late. But I hope the party turned out OK. Did you wear your suede pumps? How did your feet feel afterwards?
I have a pair of shoes, size 10, I'm either an 11 or a 10.5 My toes are kind of bent in them and are very uncomfortable, would this work to help loosen/ sretech/ make bigger the toe part?
@GloriaIsAwesome Yup! It will work. You just may have to do it more than once. Maybe two or three times. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out!
@TheSpitSkaters Yup. Well, I'm only sure of leather. I've tried with other materials and it didn't work for me. But give it a try and let me know how it turns out for you!
i recently bought those beautiful timberland shoes.
but i have a too wide foot instep. so i saw your video that look very promising. Only the problem is.. won´t the leather get all ugly if i put them in the freezer?? people say that the leather gets hard and get little cracks in it..
@MAKEUPNAILSQUEEN This technique only works on leather shoes. Unfortunately, Payless shoes aren't made of leather. Usually, they are made of synthetic fibers, or plastic. I may be wrong. I know that Christian Siriano designs shoes for Payless. Though I haven't checked them, it may be possible that they are made of leather. But the majority of Payless shoes aren't leather.

Hey yah, can I just use super cold water or ice in the ziplock bag? And leave it outside instead of putting it in the freezer?
rinakeyz 3 weeks ago
@rinakeyz No. The water expands when it freezes into ice.
you cannot just shove ice into youe shoe.

@JaamesAmos um no? Water expands when you freeze it and having air would make it useless

@JaamesAmos No, you don't. The more air you have, the worse it will be. You want the ice to expand into the shoe, not into the air space.
