  • Where is "song for a sucker like you ??????

Please upload it for me ? Please?

  • He must have learned a few trix from Mose Allison

  • valvetrom - Hmmmmmm - where to start?

Ben Sidran is Ben Sidran - mostly original material - excellent pianist - great vocals.

And, Mose Allison is Mose Allison - no comparison, really.

YET - two great jazz artists. I'm appreciative of both talents.

STILL - Ben Sidran doesn't need any tricks - no rabbits - no hats.

  • You are right, just Mose Allison has been a round a much longer time, and I feel Ben must have liked what he heard.

  • Love the way the piano starts...hehe

  • IMHO his best effort was The Concert for Garcia Lorca and a close second Tell Me Something - Songs Of Mose Allison with Van Morrison

  • He's always spreading some kinda good energy through music! groovy!

  • Nice tenor solo!

    Very well done,,love his sound!

    All the best

    Mario,from Canada

  • "Cornbloom's. Cornbloom's. Ain't no jive. Stop in at ol' State Street, number 505."

--Ben's advertising jazz jingle, from his old Madison TV show in the 1970s
