My mother, who is 95, used to be part of the Ina Rae Hutton band. I wish I had talked with her about this period of her life when her memories were more vivid.

i love her style, and her wardrobe, she was amazing, its such a shame she's so forgotten and no one knows her, plus, there's practically no information on her whatsoever. She was gorgeous, and talented as well, she was an excellent tapper in the small routines she did in Truckin' and Suzy-Q, and she led a band, plus she was an amazing fashionista, I love the 1930s and she was just the essence of everything I loved about it
