I've seen both Muse and Coldplay live, and their shows are actually really comparable in terms of enjoyability. Being a fan of both, they both have really distinct sounds, and in ways, are at opposite ends of the musical spectrum. Coldplay has much more lyrical songs, but you really have to see them live to experience their music... Martin has fantastic stage presence. On the other hand, Muse's shows are eargasmic and also REALLY visually pleasing. Both put on one hell of a show. Sigh.

Just because you listen to popular classics and are JUST discovering music, doesn't mean you have a good taste in music. It's something that takes YEARS to develop, and while you'll never have a better taste than everybody else (subjective, etc) your tastes will become more sophisticated and acquired.
