NICE!!!But I don't really understand whenever the subtitles say "painted over bla bla bla"..on the soft light layer?on the background layer?paint with what?I'm stuck after i painted with the light blue colour

you could show us how its done while running it in photoshop... not just showing us how the layers are at each step..

hm, you think I would deliberately do this if I had a choice? I used the free version of Hypercam(which is a bit err, crap, really) and pressed record and did the whole thing. When I was done I pressed 'play', and guessed what, it didn't play back! I guessed the free version was a trial and has alredy expired and I didn't realise it, and this is all I had left.
