  • "Sitting" looks a enjoyable rock song here, although in the "Present" album sounds excessive, forced! And the Moodies with Moraz finally were playing well live!!

  • Good to see John rockin' out! :)

  • pop goes the moodies.not one of my faves!

  • moodiesfan,What order were these songs played in originally?

  • This song is an improvement over HOLD ON TIGHT by E.L.O.

  • Moody Blues and E.L.O. were my favorite groups when I was young.

  • as far as the interviews all but John got into the heavy stuff of the 60's and 70's the alternative religions and psychedelic drugs and stuff. John has always been straight. If you notice, he is always wearing a cross. Look at old concert footage and stuff.

  • Many rock groups took their name from different LSD variations, labeled according to little color papers they were embedded in, and the effect they trigger: Deep Purple, Tangerine Dream, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, maybe Black Sabbath, and so on ...

  • I am a Justy girl. I do like John too though but Justin has been the man of my dreams since I discovered men :-)

  • Patrick was already there when I discovered the band too. I also went back and listened to their material from the Pinder days and I can't say I was impressed with his contribution. Average keyboard player, distinctly dull compositions and soporific voice. Sorry, just my opinion.

  • ahh john!!!!!!!!!

  • berry, I think what they were trying to say is that they made the album for fans of Long Distance Voyager, following the LDV formula. Again, I think The Present is a really good listen and has very original songs, but apparently Justin and John think it falls short. It's the only point I disagree with them on.

  • Its among one of my fav albums

  • berr,

    even sounded like it! XDDDD

  • Good to know this is a liked MB album. I don't know why, but Hayward and Lodge disowned it in a 2007 interview in Higher and Higher magazine, calling it "rubbish" and " a cocaine record."

  • berr,

Definitely! And I still think he tooted at 28-30. XD

  • I don't know when they started tooting but I know they quit in 1988. And as far as I know have been straight ever since.

  • Tooting?

  • doing cocaine

  • LOL! Tooting? That's in south-west London, isn't it?

  • This is the first time I have EVER seen them play a song from THE PRESENT live!!

Thank you. Hayward and Lodge have pretty much disowned the album. Does anyone know why? I think it's great & among their best work.

  • I'm sorry, I'm not aiming to be mean, but what is with Patrick's clothes? What are we looking at there? Is he wearing sweat pants? And with a satin jacket??

Every time I see these videos from Wembly Arena, I crack up laughing at him. I'm sorry.........

  • Ah hes just a "fake Moody" anyway. I always wanted to know what the deal is with that hair?????

  • green,

I agree with ya on that one! I always wonder where (or how) he got all of his energy! I bet when he was a kid, he was always in the principal's office! lol!

And he probably broke the dress code with the hair, and his parents were always getting calls to "take your kid to the barbershop already!" lol!!!!

  • I hear ya.

  • There was a guy on Youtube trying to say this song was an ELO ripoff.I DON"T BELIEVE IT!!

  • Berr,

I have a feeling that putting up with me is gonna catch up with my hubby after this move, I have not been a very happy camper, or very easy to please! But he hasn't lost his cool. He will probably just wake up some morning next week looking like he is about 98!

    rofl!!!!

  • Did PM fart at 28-30?

  • Berr,

Mine is 53!! Looks much younger, acts much younger, but has his Birth Cert. to prove it. LOL!!!! Nobody believes him. I hope nobody believes ME when I turn 53. LOL!! Which, of course, is 7 years away from now..

I tell my hubby that he is married to a young chic!!!'ROFL!!!

  • My boyfriend's 54 (and $*@":%;! gorgeous).

BTW, I can't believe that this song must have passed me by on that evening in Wembley. I can't remember it.

  • Berr,

Oh, yes! I shall do that asap. That will be my Bedtime Story, of sorts...you know what I mean..*wink*wink!!!

  • Berr,

    I hear ya there!! XD

  • You guys aren't that old yet. My dad is 52

  • Berry,

Uh....Yes, that's it! Dance!! Hmmm, now whatever else could you be thinking??? LMBO!!!!!

  • yes ok! lol!i wonder if they limit the save to faves?

    where's krn?

  • i like the jay's shirts! Rock on!

Ray sometimes had weird outfits on. i won't even start with Patrick's um pants. this is JH's most beautiful period i think though it wouldnt hurt to smile a little!

john, well there's nothing wrong with that man!

  • my favorite box will explode soon

  • Did anyone notice that right in the middle od the first verse it skiped straight to the beginning if the second one?

  • Kev,

Thank you for clearing that up. I've been on this freaky 14 hour overnight shift crap for 3 nights and I thought it was just ME having a brain fart!!!

  • Berry,

Ah! This song always gets me going!! Even after a 14 hour night shift, I feel like gettin' up and dancin!!

    ROFL!!!

  • Yea Boy!!! Go John, Go. Woohoooo! This is great.

  • Keep on adding them!

  • berrygirl1964 is right. I am happy! Yet another live rarity. What's interesting to note here is that John Lodge introduces the song. For qutie a while Ray Thomas would introduce the songs even if they were song by Justin or John. Oh and I got a better look with this video, it's Wembley Arena.

  • This video goes out to Berrygirl. :)

    sent With Love,

    MoodiesFan

  • yeah baby!
