ur singing is really pretty, but i agree with lilsamich. it's ok to act with your hands, but u have to make it look unplanned. i also think u need to develop the character a bit, like her personality and the way she moves her hands as that character.

but overall i think u did a great job! i don't criticize without it being constructional so if i really didn't like it, i wouldn't have commented. :)

Well all of the "acting with the hands" was directional and I was informed to do that. If you watch the original cast and revival cast productions, Little Red is known in this song for doing specific moments like this. It defines her in this song.

i agree with u. the challenge though is to make the motions look unplanned. but also as an actress myself, i know how tough it is so i don't want to criticize u or make u feel like ur horrible because ur not.... at all. i think u did a great job, but i just want to give u some tips so u can be even better! keep on acting and singing!!

Your voice is lovely. Your acting is ok.

You talk with your hands too much. Some of the motions are fine but many of them just look very staged and planned. A lot of it looks a third grader doing the motions she made up to say with her poem.

But you have a very nice voice. Keep it up!

Oh an d if you forget or are unable to do something like take your hood off, improvise. The little flick of the hood that you aren't actually holding looks silly. You probably should have just left it out.

fyi....if you watch INto the Woods, thats how she does it...a bit more animated but she acts with her hands....

The direction was actually to flick the hood which I personally didn't agree with, I thought I should've curtsied or something since the hood couldn't come off. Thanks though!
