I love this movie but Glee girl bugged me at first.. and I prefer Alex Pettyfer with the British accent. I'm obsessed with this movie, I bought it on DVD and just finished reading the book! The storyline is quite different in the book! John Smith is supposed to be fireproof, not Number Six.

"I Am Number 4"? LMAO. It's just another one of those "I have a life and I dont want this" kinda type of movies. And those cinematic epic-like panning out camera shots and slow motion shots are pretty dated; its been seen alot. If that s all there is to this movie, then f*** it. I know that most of these movies target todays teen fan base but come on this shit has recycled far too much. I dont need another pretty boy movie; that seems o be the thing these days. I want a good plot.

Ok. What the heck is John doing to number six on 2:19 ?! Now if he's like just doing that for fun , like trying to see her powers. Then that is pretty romantic. I gotta tell ya, her and John are a great couple... I don't know why but I seem to like the warrior woman type for a romantic love story than a helpless girl who is uncomfortable with herself. Twilight is almost the same except Edward was way more protective than John. And John just can't go and bite Sarah and make her to be his kind.??

The tittle of the sequel is The Power Of Six, if im not wrong.

She is the one mentioned in Book 1 to be the one being tracked somewhere in Spain. And I am guessing from her name that she has the power to breath under water. : )

They only wrote that number 9 is also a female and was in argentina where she saved a persons life before she left so they won't find her. I also knew about 3 books but not about 6 books. The trailer looks good storywise so far except of number six which they seem to have changed a bit in some parts like how they meet.

My book doesn't content these parts. :/ I knew the title was the power of six so I thought it would reveal the remaining garde. :) Now that the charm is broken they are all in danger at the same time so I wonder if they will all survive long enough to find each other and how evolved the remaining ones are. Maybe 4 and 6 trying to find her instead since 4 already knew that one of them was in spain and one in argentina(even though 9 left from SA). August? I thought in February?

So, number 7 has some idea that 'John Smith' is a fellow garde. : ) I really have high hopes for book 2.

@aquatictwist I'm with you, this looks awesome... but it's not all sci-fi/supernatural movies that are compared to twilight... just the ones that are otherwise awesome sci-fi/action/thrillers sullied by a cheesy present day high-school romance w/ teenie appeal involving a slender uber pretty boy and a hot little girl next door who doesn't quite fit in. It goes without saying that this will be a completely different and likely enjoyable movie. It's just some things look a little familiar.
