@Dragonmasterlunur I don't know what fight you were watching. Godzilla only won the first battle due to the circumstances of redirecting the energy from the shock anchors back at MGII. Before that, Godzilla was getting the ever loving crap kicked out of him.
Garuda also was specifically designed to also incoporate the G-Crusher. It's kind of shown in the first fight that, with disreards to the issue with the anchors, MGII had an overwhelming advantage over Godzilla.

@warrior12380 In my opinion, the ending King Gahdora should have attacked Godzilla instead of Gigan. That way the middle head of gahfora could have been blown off an he comes back as Mecha Gahdora. The Monster in the Asteroid should have been an alien that scanned Godzillas DNA and became Space Godzilla. Mecha Godzilla would have been a new Monster killing weapon only seen at the end of the movie. Two Mecha monsters battle while Godzilla and SG battle. At least thats what i think

MG was IMO the greatest variation of MechaGodzilla. He came in, and he completely and utterly destroyed Godzilla in a fight. Blasted him apart, took him down, smashed him to bits, losing only due to bad luck.
And that was normal MG. They decided that wasn't enough so they popped on Garuda and did the same thing again and then blew up Godzilla's brain.
Japan wasn't screwing around in this movie and this theme just represents that epic feeling of MG's dominance.
@ReroOnyx I believe Kiryu (Mechagodzilla 3) may have been more powerful than MG2. The problem is, Kiryu was so prone to malfunction. Every time it got close to defeating Godzilla, it turned around and went ape-shit on Tokyo! Had Kiryu been as controled as MG2, Godzilla probably would've gotten his ass kicked.
@D2Kprime Thanks. Godzilla vs MG II was probably my favorite Godzilla movie from the Heisei series, though there really wasn't a Godzilla movie that I disliked from the Heisei series anyways.
@ReroOnyx : Well...I didn't care for Biollante all that much. The music was all wrong. The concept was way too ambitious. Merging Godzilla's cell with a rose was a stretch in and of itself, but Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria? REALLY?? :/ Space Godzilla was kinda 'meh' too which figures because it was sort of a sequel to Biollante. All the rest of the Heisei series owned. Of course, my favorite of the series and favorite movie of all time period is Godzilla 1985.
@D2Kprime I wouldn't say Biollante or Space G. was great, but it at least kept me entertained. The only Godzilla movie that I truly hated was "Godzilla's Revenge" which was just a sack of so much suck it actually makes the American 1998 Godzilla look good in comparison.
@ReroOnyx That was a good movie, but in my opinion the best looking Mecha Godzilla was in Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla and Tokyo SOS. In those movies they managed to come up with a good balance between the original Macha Godzilla, and the one you speak of.
@porpus99 My feelings exactly. I love the fierce look of the original but it is too "Tin canny" as you could say. The hesei version is a little too shiny and doesn't hhave the fierce look of the original. Mecha 3 "Kiryu" is a nice blend of the two.

The third Mecha Godzilla version, Kiryu, was the best looking but i found the theme song to be lacking. Give the third version Mecha Godzilla the Second versions theme song and it would have been perfect.

@Xboxzilla Due to Rodan's influence, Godzilla's secondary brain was able to regenerate and increase the influx of his power. Without it though, Godzilla basically lost the entire fight. Even without Garuda and the G-crusher, unless he does the same thing he does in the first fight with the anchors, his nuclear breath is useless and he has to rely on pure physical strength. Issue there is, MGII is a walking tank of weapons who has more than once beat the G-man down using sheer firepower.

Likewise, while weaker than Burning G, Destoroyah was able to hold his own fairly well and took several sustained blasts from Burning G without dying, whereas Super MechaGodzilla succumbed to a series of potentially weaker blasts.
@Vlorsutes You know, you bring up an excellent point - Burning Godzilla was super powerful and could probably be classified as stronger than Godzilla being engergized by Rodan at that moment...I do not have figures or exact measurements (unless the producers have said something), but burning Godzilla was in some ways a "suped" up Godzilla that became completely unstable...where he was firing "orange" breath the entire time, unlike against Space Godzilla, where he uses it controllably at the end.

In all seriousness Akira Ifukube makes some of the greatest composers of all time look like amateurs. He's actually considered better than Bach, Mozart, Beethovan, all those guys. This is just another great example of his awesome music.
Its like they modified this mechagodzilla theme for the godzilla 2000 theme song. Just listen to godzilla 2000 song if you don't know what I am saying guys. Its a fly song though.

Because it wouldn't have fit. The old MechaGodzilla was a villain, so he had a scary imposing theme, but this one was the good guy so he got this majestic militaristic theme.
Yes, he is great too. I like Mechagodzilla II cause of his more dangerous looking and his better fighting abbilities. But his older Model was also not bad and some time Kikked even Godzillas ass.

yeah, what many people don't know is that Power Rangers originated in Japan, it is derived from Super Sentai, the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers used footage from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, and it was much more darker, had more depth, and was more teen and adult-oriented, more violent

In all seriousness Akira Ifukube makes some of the greatest composers of all time look like amateurs. He's actually considered better than Bach, Mozart, Beethovan, all those guys. This is just another great example of his awesome music.

Its like they modified this mechagodzilla theme for the godzilla 2000 theme song. Just listen to godzilla 2000 song if you don't know what I am saying guys. Its a fly song though.

actually,at the end of gvd daddyzilla dies and when he goes BOOM the radiation brought babyzilla back to life and fully grown.that why you see godzillas shadow in the smoke at the end of the movie its actually babyzilla.que godzilla 2000

Because it wouldn't have fit. The old MechaGodzilla was a villain, so he had a scary imposing theme, but this one was the good guy so he got this majestic militaristic theme.

Yes, he is great too. I like Mechagodzilla II cause of his more dangerous looking and his better fighting abbilities. But his older Model was also not bad and some time Kikked even Godzillas ass.

@godzillachief092 I agree. I prefer the original MechaGodzilla. I am also very fond of Kiryu's design. Mechagodzilla two...I just couldn't get over the dopey expression, although he was obviously more than a match for Godzilla...when he worked lol.
