I'm glad I heard the story of that scar. I noticed the scar the moment I first saw her on SNL, but I always thought she was beautiful, regardless of her scar. I love her mind (what I know of it) as much as her looks.

Actually, these people tend to become far-left advocates who pretend to be journalists (roughly 85% of the media), politicians, and actors (like Tina). Apparently she feels she's not an egomaniac, so I guess we're supposed to care what she has to say on a variety of issues because she does a nice Sarah Palin impersonation and ripped off the movie Heathers in order to write Mean Girls.

ive read this book, and when i read this part, i didnt know what she was talking about. i didnt even know she had a scar on her face. i looked at her as a person, not a face or a scar. i didnt look at her flaws, i looked at her humor and her ability to make me smile.

I think scars on women affect them differently than men. Guys I've know will show off scars and tell you how they got bit by a dog, shot, stabbed, stuck their hand in a lawnmower, whatever. Women seem tight lipped about them and I never ask how it happened. If I get to know a woman well enough she might tell me, but usually not. How Ms Fey got hers was indeed tragic. That a guy cut a five year old just out of spite is so low, I would love ten mins in a room with no windows with that POS.

I hope that one day when you are walking in a dark alley, someone slashes your face and not only that but cuts your balls off, that is if you have any. @dicanhotorres9 - Right. Because there are no violent or mentally deranged people in the world. All horrific news stories are just made up for our amusement; that shooting in Tucson AZ, all actors. She must've slashed herself as a kid & everyone in her life corroborated the story so she'd have good fodder for her future audiobook. Also, good point about our appearances being open to public scrutiny. If I can see your face, it's totally my business & you MUST tell me.
