I made a mistake with buying one of these TV's. The first day it was fine. After 2 or 3 weeks, I started noticing a few dead pixels, also the quality wasn't that good either. After that I got an LG LCD and so far, no dead pixels and the quality is much sharper and natural.

@zawchig888 it's a manufacturing defect. I have one of those and didn't experience any problems so far.

can someone help me i got a sharp aquos lc32d624 hdtv.first off i can change the channels the only thing i can do is do inputs or stare at the black and white scribbles on channel 2.second i cant set up my ps3 1080p settings with the tv all i hear is audio no picture.

@Thers2006channel I got the top of the line with WiFi and everything (LC-60LE835U). The built in web access is ONLY a link to the Sharp server. You cannot access anything outside of what they want you to access. So I bought the Logitech Revue and use it for full internet access, like Crackle, Amazon Movies, and so on. So the built in web is useless except for Sharp firmware updates.

@FieryFire3D That depends on what do you mean by "worth it"... there are some people that will pay anything for a superior visual experience, and for me, Sharp has the clearest image above all other marks (Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, etc).

these tvs have serious problem with NETFLIX. i have to reset my router every time i want to stream netflix on my TV. It is not my router because i also have wdtv live that streams netflix just fine in the other room

Ich habe es erst geglaubt als ich direkt davor stand.

Habe den Sony KDL 5800 gesehen wow der ist schon einer der besten.

Aber der Sharp, ich wollte es nicht glauben,man hat das Gefühl man kann in das Bild hineinfassen.

Die Farben sind da einfach brilliant und der Betrachtungswinkel ist auch hervorragen.

Wer sich einen Ferseher mit Full LED Backlight wünscht kann da nichts falsch machen.

Das einzige was mich etwas entäuscht ist das Shapr bis jetzt keine 200Hz anbietet dann könnte Sony einpacken

im getting this LED in 40inch but without the built in Blu-Ray heard the player is giveing the LED lots of problems

@SPgamerPS3 the built blu-ray player onthe LED has been glitching and is known to swallow the disc thereby getting the player stuck with that u need send the whole LED back to the customer service store to retrieve the blu-ray disc out. in certain cases it destroys ur blu -ray disc when swallowing, this happens in sharp's LED products in asia not sure about other regions

Awesome TV. Better contrast than any I've seen & at a pretty good price. Also really good on the energy use - & no heat wave emanating from the screen.

The built-in Bluray is pretty slow to start-up - but happy with the pic when it finally gets going.

Japanese build quality seems pretty solid - but the black plastic facing around the screen could be better quality (purely cosmetic, but still...)

Overall a pretty good addition to our living room.

led tv has deepest black tones, because the leds(wich are in a matrix array) can be completly turned off, i mean, just are turned off the necesary leds, without affect other parts of the image

To me,I'd buy an LED TV because of its picture quality and it's supreme energy savings.LEDs also give out less heat and no radiation at all.

@MegaMaster456, fyi...an LCD TV, whether CCFL(old tech) or LED(new tech) back-lit, is still an LCD TV >^.^< your quattron will just be a 40'' full-array LED lamp without an LCD(X-gen LCD for your nice quattron ) ... anyways...congrats on your quattron.

@safarimandude23 Just head over to a Best Buy or Wal-Mart and compare. The LED's have a higher contrast ratio which means a clearer picture, the 46' Sharp has a sub-woofer for sound quality, LED's use less electricity and will last longer. You pay a little more upfront but you will save in the long run on your electric bill.

I have Samsung LED TV series 7 and i think both tv's are great. Samsung -the first LED tv and i have it. It;s great. I have internet in my TV lol's.

It's not even local dimming, therefore you can't get truly deep blacks. This LCD should perform similarly to an ordinary CCFL LCD because of no local dimming. The panel used is does not also provide adequate light peakthrough control; unless you use Sharp's new UV2A panel.

The only true difference between this LEDLCD is just the back-lit; yes it's better, but they don't turn on and off individually!!!

Sharp has never let me down before! I have a 42" LCD HDTV in 1080p and it is gorgeous! I would imagine that the LED backlight would give a more precise color/contrast capability. Judging by this ad, it does :). I'm in the market for a 52"! :D

I saw one at Best Buy when I was vacating in Florida. Amazing color features! I bought my 52" from Dell last week Thursday. The turn around is about a week and a half! I'm really looking forward to it!
