  • Are you an ex adventist ?

  • @LoudCryProphecies Hi Loudcry my position has been stated in my videos. Why do you ask if I'm an ex Sevvy?

    Blessings

  • @JesusIsEnough777 I simply ask because you've dedicated a lot of time to disapprove of Ellen White ; it's only fair to ask. It's a simple yes or no. You can't decipher a denomination unless you've actually been a part of it. Better yet, what denomination are you ?

  • @JesusIsEnough777 when you fight against a true prophet you are fighting against God himself. All who killed the prophets will be cast into the lake of fire. Paul was one convert from this deadly sin.

  • @bornbythesea BBTS--I wrestle not with flesh and blood but with spiritual wickedness. EGW was not a true prophet, that which is false comes not from God. She falsely predicted the return of Christ when she should have learned her lesson from Wm miller. She said diet plays a part in salvation (right arm of the gospel), she accused her church members of various sins in public and she stole from other authors....beloved you need to get back to the word of God and His word alone & trust Jesus

  • @JesusIsEnough777 I want to deal with each point one at a time. I must ask how extensive is your knowledge of her writings and if you have had the opportunity to read The Great Controversy, Early Writings, The Life of William Miller, and other profound works. Remember that Paul said that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We must treat our bodies with the utmost respect. I have not come to complete victory in that area yet, though praying about it.

  • @bornbythesea GC 352-353: Those [Millerites] who proclaimed this warning gave the right message at the right time--Miller said Jesus was coming in 1843 then 1844--this error in fact and error in time

GC389: The 2ndangel’s message of Revn 14 was first preached in of 1844 ... The churches then experienced a moral fall, in consequence of their refusal of the light of the advent message; False 1844 Miller preached the second coming -- not the IJ Thus it was a false message

  • @bornbythesea Her "works" are profound only in their error and in how much she plagarized or sdas say "borrowed" from Christian writers. EW page 65 egw says the sabbath is the gratest command but Matt 22:36-40 says Love God & neighbor is the greatest command

Page 67 she says that Jesus the end would come in a "few months" ---false prophecy

come out of her my people says the Lord--this woman has told you lies and Deut 18 says not to pay attention to her

  • @shantiiful

Ellen White speaks nothing contrary to scriptures. If you read her writings have your bible also with you and then you will know for sure because she quotes from the scriptures a lot to back up each point she makes. Now i want to ask a question, DOES A DEAD PERSON KNOW HOW HE/SHE WILL BE BURIED? IF ANSWERTO THIS QUESTION IS NO THEN ISN'T IT POSSIBLE YOU JUDGE WRONGFULLY?

  • @Shantiiful Egw has been proven to be a false prophet repeatedly She buried her husband under the symbol of Baal and indeed knew she would be buried with her husband under that symbol. The sda church has a video out about a girl stealing something from EGW's room-isn't it ironic that God could give her a vision about something in EGWs room but would not warn her to not be buried or bury her husband under the sign of Baal? The reason I can't believe EGW is because my Bible is opened & true

  • ellen white copied from many writers of her day- she got hit in the head when 9 and when she woke up 3 weeks later which suggests to me she had brain damage, she talked a whole load of crap about enoch living on the planet venus and condemning young people for talking to each other, a perfectly natural human activity, she predicted that some sdas at a conference in 1856 would be alive when jesus comes back- what a joke! is that what you all call a prophet?

  • On (John 8:7-9 cont'd)...

So, they were convicted of what He said in v.8, and after Jesus wrote on the ground, they left... just following the sequence of John 8:7-9, just like EGW says it.

  • Dear brother, in john *, it says:

    "(John 8:7-9)

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

And they which heard [it], being convicted by [their own] conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, [even] unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst."

Meaning after they heard His statement, they left..>

  • Those who are truly walking with Christ will see that you are a sower of discord. I tried to make a point and you attacked me, saying that I was trying to pick fault with the Bible. That's what I was referring to when I had said that you are prideful. For pride keeps us from seeing the facts. And because you are so bent on bashing people whom you disagree with, you can't recognize the difference between someone who is attacking you and someone who is trying to help you see things more clearly.

  • @oxo7oxo I sow no discord. You tried to use Acts 9 to "show" that the words in the Bible don't always mean what they say they mean. that by implication, suggestion & reasoning is an attempt to deconstruct God's word to make EGW appear accurate. That is not an attack on you as a person, it is pointing out what your line of reasoning is doing. I have no qualms with you as a person, it is the gospel of EGW that I have a problem with. I love you with the love of the Lord & pray He will guide yo

  • By the way, here's one for you to chew on: "And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. (Act 9:7 NKJV)

"And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me.(Act 22:9 NKJV)

Did they hear the voice or didn't they? It seems to me that the word hear doesn't always mean what we think it does!

  • @oxo7oxo No need to chew on that one at all an understanding of biblical hermeneutic answers this one. The men obviously heard, what they did not do is hear is the words in a way that they understood. For example if I were at a revival in Russia (I only know how to say Dobrae Utra) & heard the preacher's sermon. I don't know the individual words he is saying though I could hear him. If you said to me did you hear what he said? I would say no. Believe the word of God and only Him my friend :)

  • @oxo7oxo There is no need to try and pick fault with the Bible to build up your prophet....this kind of challenge is just as bad as the Muslims and Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • @JesusIsEnough777 I'm not trying to pick fault with the Bible. I'm simply pointing out that words don't always mean what we think they do. You see, they heard a voice, but they didn't understand it. In other words, they didn't hear the same thing that Paul heard. If you would listen, and not be so prideful you might hear too! The problem that you have really isn't with Ellen White. It's with your lack of understanding. And your lack of understanding is the result of a prideful heart.

  • @oxo7oxo Ladies & gentleman-normally I remove personal attacks but I am leaving this one up to as an example of the SDA mindset. Don't deal in facts attack the person who does not agree with you. oxo7oxo who has never met me says 1 I don't listen 2 I''m prideful 3 that I don't have a problem with EGW & 4 I lack understanding. If (s)he removes the statement I have it saved in my inbox. Not all SDAs are like this but nevertheless this is what many resort to

  • @oxo7oxo Ox you prove the point re what Paul heard and what the people around him heard. Also this does NOTHING to negate what the bible says about the woman caught in adultery as opposed to EGW's version of events. With all love I say your attempt at sleight of hand here doesn't work. i love you and will continue to pray for you.

  • I believe John was essentially suggesting that they came to understand that they were just as guilty of sin as she was. Hence their reason for departing; for their conscience was seared by the conviction of God.

  • @oxo7oxo Of course the accusers knew they were guilty but the text says what it says. Hearing and seeing are 2 completely different things

  • You really need to study your Bible. I learned this from a conventional preacher. I can't remember his name (It's been about 4-5 years) but if I come across him on the radio again, then I will post his name & you can look up the sermon.

He studied the bible and the meaning of each word, and through exegesis alone came up with the EXACT same interpretation, and taught it to me. This was at least a year before I became an Adventist.

  • @gthang5555 Oh I get it hearing doesn't mean hearing it means reading.

So does reading not mean reading but rather hearing?

Perhaps the deaf hear braille and the blind reads lips

  • The bible says that Jesus wrote their sins in the sand. This is what I learned, what the preacher learned & what every other person listening to that non-Adventist preacher, learned from him.

The wisdom of the Bible is hidden from the wicked. You must study the Bible to find the truth. You cannot cherry pick verses & expect to have the truth. Well, you can expect it, but you won't find it. You now have the truth, whether or not you believe it, is your choice.

  • You're kinda playing gotcha though and in this instance, what Ellen white wrote makes more sense than what the KJV bible says. Why would they leave because they heard him writing in the sand. How much noise does that make. What they heard was their conscience

  • Well, you need to define "it". Read one verse further. verse 9. then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beggining with the oldest, even to the last." Are you contending that the Bible says that the Pharasees left due to the sound of Jesus writing in the sand? I think it's safe to assume that they SAW what Jesus was writing, and what they heard was their conscience saying "You are as guilty as this woman."

  • Your last sentence actually proves the point. If the Holy Spirit convicted to them and they HEARD the Holy Spirit or HEARD their conscience then just as the scripture says after HEARING they departed.

  • i have this book as well brother and she has many bible contridicting statements in it.

but i must say the art work on the cover is nice
