@ausamy7 no there is no sound when you zoom! BUT! The camera mutes itself when you zoom in and out:D

battery life is very good!but you should have extra battery for back up especially if go out of town!

@xoxomojo I don't recommend it. Even from the moment the battery is manufactured the life of it starts to wear down as it oxidizes. Just bring your charger and plug it in and let it hit a low charge occasionally.
